Less of me, more of You

Matthew 25:35-40: ³⁵ For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. ³⁶ I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

³⁷ “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? ³⁸ Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? ³⁹ When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ ⁴⁰ “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,^[a] you were doing it to me!”

September 9, 2025. Yesterday after being led by the Holy Spirit to stay in from Friday till today, prayed, filled up with the Holy Spirit, made breakfast, put worship, listened to the Bible, as the Lord has led me to give away all the Bibles, staying with the one on the phone, which is a free app that has been shared in this blogs/podcasts as led by the Holy Spirit that has many languages and versions to compare. Before reading the Bible is important to ask the Holy Spirit to let us understand what HE needs us to understand. I got ready and left for the local police precinct which has people incarcerated. Before arriving at the present I was led to pray with a group of people in a local corner store, give out the Good News of Jesus paper, listen to them and then keep walking to the street that leads to the precinct. On the way there were groups of young people sharing smoke and drinks that also received the Good News of Jesus paper. Arriving to the precinct I told them as have been said the few times that I have been led to go that I am a missionary pastor coming to pray and read the Bible with the inmates. I was led to do a prayer with the men inside the cell from the door that led to their space, asking the police to please get me a chair to sit, one of the officers always stays and that is possibly the person who needs to also receive from the Holy Spirit and the word in the Bible and what is shared as led by the Holy Spirit. Today I was led to read Matthew 2, stopping as the Holy Spirit gave word. At the end the prayer of salvation was said for those who wanted to repent and receive Jesus as we read in Romans 10:9 and John 14:6. Sharing that when we repent and proclaim Jesus as our Lord and Savior we get salvation, eternal life, purpose, identity, fruits, gifts, after getting baptized by submersion in water and receiving the Holy Spirit. They all did the prayer and were so thankful. I then prayed for all of us in the place and left giving the officer who stayed thanks and giving out the Good News of Jesus with all that were sitting in the waiting area and outside. The Good News of Jesus paper was given as I walked back, spending time with a disciple and then stopping at a local mini market, where the wife of the owner was led to serve me lunch and I was able to buy a malted drink. We also spoke and shared the Good News of Jesus, with the daughter sharing that they are there for what ever I need, which is common in the small towns outside of the city. But also the Lord makes sure we have what we need when doing the Great Commission as we read in Matthew 28.

I had been led to borrow a neighbors Bible, who also has been spoken to about Jesus. The Lord knew I was going to need a physical Bible as in the precinct they don’t allow phones to be used around the inmates. The Lord has led me to give out all the Bibles as I shared before, but again he makes sure what is needed is there. When going back to where the Bible was returned the woman saved me food and some cookies for dinner. It is interesting that I was born here in the Dominican Republic but people think I am a foreigner and I get that a lot. As time goes by people think more and more that I am a foreigner, as there is also a prototype for what a Christian should look like here and the Bible does say we are exiles here for some time, awaiting the going to the New Heaven and New Earth as we read in Hebrews 11 and Revelations 21. It also exposes what is in people’s hearts and minds, such as the last town where for what ever reason they were blinded by the looks and kept thinking I was a rich white woman instead of a missionary, but those who are meant to understand always do. People wherever the Holy Spirit has placed me are not used to a person who is fully led by the Holy Spirit and or lives by faith, which is what happened after Acts 2 when the first disciples received the Holy Spirit.

Yesterday I was so spiritually attacked that I felt that I was going to drop and out of breath, I was led to ask for prayer from a few people and to take a nap. I felt better after praying and sleeping. That started in the town that I was last sent to where I see the sun so bright and feel like I am going to drop. I was led to make a GoFundMe me, as two weeks have to be paid here, as it is thru an online app, where the woman who runs it received Jesus and lets me pay as the provisions come. I am here for what sounds like September 15. Before that these two weeks have to and your support is greatly appreciated. The link will be shared at the end. This place the Holy Spirit has me in is $28 dollars a night and it is 14 nights. I am also hearing another town after this and the place is rented after I leave, as told by the woman who runs it. Also money is needed for food, transportation and any other need for the Great Commission. There are also other ways to support this Great Commission that will also be shared at the end of this blog post.
