Less of me, more of You

Reading for today 2 Samuel 19.

July 7, 2024. Today woke up after waking up and going back to sleep several times, which happens depending on the territories. Read the Bible, got on my knees and asked the Lord for a clarification of what HE was going to do or have me do as far as extending the stay or going to the next state and I heard extend the stay and a name of a sister in Christ. I messaged the sister with how much extending the room for two nights was which is $140 dollars here at this motel and prayed as I took a shower and got ready, first putting the hair color on my hair, surrendering the day to the Lord. Then after getting ready recording Matthew 16 which was the next study for the discipleship with the Book of Matthew, which link is going to be at bottom of this testimony. I heard where to go have lunch with the money I had left, in a fast food restaurant close to the motel. Went to the fast food restaurant giving the Good News of Jesus paper to each person as they came in, to the homeless individuals on the way and some of the workers in the restaurant. In the time while sitting at the fast food restaurant a woman whom the Lord had had me minister to so she could understand the relationship with Jesus started messaging me about how confusing this journey of faith of mine was for her and how come if there are so many churches the Holy Spirit would send me, which I was led to tell her to ask the Holy Spirit and that the Hope of the Lord is that she understood what HE needed her to understand as HE has a way of pursuing those HE needs to understand. I believe she was also under attack and was reflecting it on me, as we have had that same conversation before. She has been also confused by false beliefs and gods, but the Holy Spirit makes sure those who are meant to understand understand. The Lord always reminds me that nothing is about us, that everything is spiritual. 1 Corinthians 2:14 states that “the person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit”. This means that only those with God’s Spirit can understand the truths revealed by God, such as Christ’s crucifixion for human sinfulness. People without God’s Spirit are limited to what can be observed and worked out with human reason. I am always led to pray that people have an encounter with the Holy Spirit, thru Jesus. John 16:8, the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit’s purpose in convicting people of sin is to make them aware of it so they can be forgiven and cleansed, not to condemn them. The Holy Spirit can also convict people of righteousness, which is a standard that Jesus points to himself as. Many false beliefs push people away from the truth which is Jesus, with a lot of false teachings, but the Holy Spirit always reminds me that those who are meant to understand will understand. Mark 4: ⁹ And he said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Our part in the Great Commission is to plant the seed and allow the person to make a choice and allowing the Holy Spirit’s parts of the body to do their part as well. 1 Corinthians 3: ⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. ⁷ So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. ⁸ He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. ⁹ For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

After the fast food restaurant was led to go into the nearby laundromat as led yesterday, before that stopping at the local pharmacy where the Good News of Jesus was given to the people in the store and some of the homeless people outside. In the Laundromat the Good News of Jesus paper was given to the people who came to wash their clothe, as I also prayed to the Lord to have provision to do my laundry as well. The workers and the owner also received the Good News of Jesus paper, which shared she is a Christian and was speaking to her “pastor/bishop”. It is interesting to me that in many of the places that the Holy Spirit sends me people proclaim to be Christians but talk about their church, but no evangelizing comes out of them in the places they are, is as people are more taught to invite people to a building than being taught how to make disciples and maybe that is why the Lord has to send someone else. There was a woman who was waiting for a drier who stated that she does not go to church which is something I get to hear a lot, but that she has a relationship with the Lord, to which I was led to ask her what does she sense Memphis needed prayer about and after she said I was led for us to hold hands and intercede for the city, we prayed and she was thankful. Families and individuals in the laundromat also received the Good News of Jesus paper and were thankful, many saying they needed that message which is something I hear a lot. While in the laundromat the sister that I was led to ask for the $140 for the extension of the room in the motel sent the money and I was led to go online and extend the room till the 10th. I cried and cried as with this walk of faith you never know what could happen sometimes till the last minute of the day before, as the room was paid till tomorrow. I was led by the Holy Spirit to go upstairs before going into the room and there was a group of men talking and one of them was the man prayed with yesterday who told the others how he had felt the power of the Lord coming down as we prayed, they took the Good News of Jesus paper, and another man was coming to take the elevator and I was led to pray with all of them with one of them who was very possessed whom I had seen and spoken to outside of the pharmacy before just looking at me mumbling, and the man who had had an encounter told him it was a message from the Lord, saying he would take the paper for him. I was led for us to make a circle holding our wrist as the Holy Spirit spoke thru me and the men were thankful and were led to go to the free Bible app and the this link for the study of Matthew and other teachings and testimonies. At the end of the day thank the Lord was able to heat up microwave dinner, take a shower and leave everything that had happened during the day in the Lord’s hands to be refilled and recharged as worship was heard and sang as there was a sense of exhaustion spiritually at the end of it all. The Lord knows who HE will move for needed underwear, water, the food for the next days, and the rest of the needed things moving forward or who HE will lead to ask. Thankful for those who have and are praying for both my daughter and I. Thankful also for those who have been and will be of channels of monetary provision for this Great Commission from state to state, all for the souls and revival in Jesus name.
