Less of me, more of You

Reading for today Revelations 21:1-8, Galatians 5 and 1 Corinthians 13.

April 4, 2024. Today after praying and reading the word, fasting as led when sent back to New York, for establishing, which the word I heard, after being in Manhattan center, Brooklyn, Queens and now in Manhattan where the Holy Spirit led me to be with a family for as long as HE directs and HIS will is done; I was led today to go meet with my daughter to give her a charger that was left when she came over for my birthday and to get a hairdryer from her for me to use, as well as a laundry detergent and drinking water she was led to get for me today, which is so the Lord, as I need to do laundry, as well as getting me water, and some leftover octopus and sausage from her meal.

When I left the apartment after putting the full armor as we read and learn in Ephesians 6:10-19 and covering my self, my daughter and our future generations with the blood of Jesus then I went to take the train and this HEAVINESS came over me and I hear unbelief and cried and cried. I started praying and hearing that unbelief is exhausting. By the time I arrived to my daughter where I was led to pray for the building where the Lord has her and lay hands on it in Jesus name. Then after we walked back to the train and I got off before her, and in both platforms and trains the Good News of Jesus was given out loud and by the paper too. I started hearing: Romans 10:¹⁷ So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. And Romans 10:¹⁴ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?^[a] And how are they to hear without someone preaching? ¹⁵ And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” The heaviness started lifting as the Good News of Jesus was shared and I was reminded that as people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and have an encounter with the Holy Spirit the unbelief goes away, as the scales come off.

After arriving at the apartment the Lord had me with the husband and wife, we were led to pray, on our knees just surrendering everything to the Lord and a sense of peace was also sensed from the Holy Spirit, as the Lord works when we humble ourselves and understand that we need HIM to be the savior as we read in Isaiah 66: This is what the Lord says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that? Could you build me such a resting place? ² My hands have made both heaven and earth;
they and everything in them are mine. I, the Lord, have spoken!“I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word.

The Holy Spirit revealed that what I was sensing was the unbelief, the pain, the hopelessness, the idol worshipping, and everything we open the doors to when we still have not accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, that we can not stop being the light as a young brother in Christ was led to share in a devotional he is led to write and share every day that said: “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 Can you hide a city that is sitting on top of a hill? Its light at night can be seen for miles! From an airplane, you can see all the lights of a town and sometimes a single house! If we live for Christ, we will glow like lights, showing others what Christ is like. We hide our light by
1 being quiet when we should speak up for a Biblical truth
2 going along with the crowd
3 denying the light who is Jesus
4 letting sin dim our light and trying to hide it
5 not explaining our light or hope to others when they ask
6 ignoring the needs of others. Does this verse say, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify YOU and pat you on the back, and give you a gold medal and a loving cup?” No! This verse says that you and I are to let our light so shine in this world that we may glorify our Father who is in heaven. Be a beacon of truth- don’t shut your light off from the rest of the world.

I have been led to share testimonies in this blog/podcast page of teachings and testimonies by the Holy Spirit. He knows why and what each person needs to hear, listen, and or do. I don’t know who or how many people the Lord will move for the rest of the nights, transportation, food, and other needs moving forward; it would be a blessing to many if it could be you. Jesus wants you to know that HE LOVES YOU. He wants a relationship with you. Our sins separate us from God when we break his commandments. But if we repent and accept Jesus as our God and Savior, there is forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, and much more.
