Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Matthew 28:¹⁶ Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. ¹⁷ When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. ¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 24: ¹² Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, ¹³ but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

The days before leaving for the next country there are a lot of mental attacks, and oppositions that come in different ways, such as hearing don’t go, other situations that may concern me or attack me moving forward, I can’t sleep or wake up a lot in the middle of the night, all of the different things the opposition sends our way for the Lord’s will not to be done and his kingdom to come. But the Lord’s will and purposes get accomplished no matter what, no one can stop him. I sensed in the spirit the importance of calling the taxi early after cleaning the place where I was led to stay in Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador, make breakfast, and sense to use a taxi app. When I got in the taxi as I have been led to do I sat in the front said hello and gave him the Good News track with the Jesus message, the free Bible app, and this page. I was led to share my testimony of coming to Jesus, thru a woman who came to a supermarket in Yonkers, NY, when she lived in the South Bronx, which was pretty far from there to get chocolate chip cookies that could have been bought where she lives, but as I now understand the Lord had a plan. She lovingly invited me to a small apartment Bible study, to which I answered a strong no and she then said filled with Love, which I now understand is one of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit(read Galatians 5): ‘the Lord has ways of calling us”. Then I went to another city and there was a young man who invited me to the same place and I thought to my self(not knowing how the Holy Spirit operates at that moment): “I should go and see what these people are doing, as now they are going to follow me everywhere.” It’s amazing how persistent the Lord is. I went to the apartment, after telling my daughter. (For more on being called, go to the post on this page called: Being called by the Holy Spirit) The Holy Spirit lead me to live by faith and to answer the Great Commission starting in Yonkers, NY like the first disciples, being led fully and depending on the Holy Spirit for everything. It all started with building relationships and loving the homeless, gang members, drug dealers, and more. The Lord opened the door to the men’s jail, men’s and women’s shelters, parks, and any place where the population would be. Then in 2021, I heard it is done in Yonkers, NY, after doing the Great Commission of Raising Disciples from 2015-2021. First I was sent to the Dominican Republic, town by town by faith and direction of the Holy Spirit. Challenging people to do the same, to see a real God that did the miracles in the Bible and does them now as well.

In the taxi on the way to the airport to go to the 12th country(Argentina); the young man had so many questions, such as why there are so many denominations that say different things about the trinity, the crucifixion of the Lord, and other questions he had after reading the Bible. He was so surprised that I didn’t debate about religion and that I lived by faith and being led by the Holy Spirit. We spoke for almost an hour as the Holy Spirit led me to answer, he was so encouraged to get closer to the Lord and to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit. When I went into the airport I was led to sit in an area and a lady came who professed to be Catholic and we started speaking about Jesus, we shared testimonies, then I had to stay behind as the attendant who was checking me in stated that in order to get into the next country I needed a ticket leaving the country, which was a confirmation as I had heard that other country after the one I was going to. I also heard in the Spirit: “Just because there is opposition or it gets hard it does not mean is not from me.” I reached out to a lady I sensed to contact, she was led to give access to the ticket, and after about 30 minutes it was bought. I went back to the line, gave the lady traveling to the next country after Argentina proof, and went into the gate. The two ladies I had met in the line, the first sitting and the other on the check-in line were already at the gate waiting for the plane to board, I explained what happened and shared the Good News paper with them, we spoke, and they asked questions and were also encouraged to have a relationship with the Lord, read his word in the Bible and obey him.

On the plane, I was placed in 6A and it was because there was a couple from the country I was being sent to who also needed to understand it is a relationship thru repenting and accepting Jesus that the Lord wants. I have realized that the Lord is like a puzzle in which each place and situation has a purpose for more people to receive Jesus. After two planes and 2 days of traveling; I arrived in the country where I was being sent to. The Holy Spirit was very specific about the area where to stay and arrangements were made to pick me up as the wife of the taxi driver is the one who takes care of the place and the Lord made it so that he would pick me up, although the plane landed at 3:43 AM the next day, he was ok to pick me up and she was ok with waiting at that time to receive me. (The Lord and his purposes) On the way to the place, the man opened up about everything that is happening in the country and also how Christianity has been perceived due to people who are misrepresenting Christ. I listened and then spoke as the Holy Spirit led. He and his wife were so amazed and encouraged by the testimony of faith and were glad to meet someone who was genuinely walking with the Lord. They were also encouraged to go to this page for discipleship with the book of Matthew in Spanish. People often ask me what denomination I am and I let them know that I do not represent any denomination, as the Holy Spirit has taught me from 1 Corinthians 12 that we are one body with different parts. Also that Jesus and the disciples did not proclaim any denomination but they spoke about the Lord, forgiveness, not sinning, purpose, eternal life and all that Christianity represents. Paul would tell people also in the Bible why are people saying they are from one person or the other when the one that dies was Jesus. I am always encouraged to tell people to pray after accepting Jesus as far as where to gather, as he knows what is best for each person.

The day I arrived, after resting I went out to see the area as I had heard, being able with some of the offering that was sent by two sisters in Christ to get phone service for the cellphone, get a coat as it is very cold, a couple of sweaters, with a card that was allowed to be used to get the winter clothing and some food to make for a few days till I am provided again. In the coat store that I was first led to go in, where I could not do contactless pay, there was a woman who stated that she was very anxious before I got there and she stated she felt something from her head to her feet tingly and a lot of peace. We prayed and I gave her the Good Newspaper with the message about Jesus, the free Bible app, and this page. She was thankful. It was for her that he sent me there to that store as I could not get anything there as I had to either pay cash or have a physical card. I kept walking and as I was led I would give out the Good News paper or talk to the person. The Lord has made it for me not to see that I am in a different country but that it’s all about the soul, regardless of the political or any other situations that may be going on in the country. On the second day, I came out and placed the Good News of Jesus papers under two floors in the 7-floor building where the Lord has me as led. Went to make copies of the tracks and the man who does the copies gave me a $500 pesos discount, which for 50 copies it would have been $1,500 pesos, he was also led to give me a chocolate, as he recently started attending a church after accepting Jesus two years ago. We shared testimonies and he also kept one of the papers to go into the discipleship page. Then I walked to the main road as led and gave out more of the Good News message. It was nice and sunny. A sister in Christ was led to send an offering and it was in the perfect time of the Lord as the stove where I was led to stay is not working, which the person who takes care of the place was coming later that day and with what the sister in Christ was led to send I was able to get lunch.

The Lord has made me understand that as people come to Jesus there is freedom, healing, restoration, forgiveness, purpose, eternal life and so much more. A revival is when the person does what it says in Romans 10:9 and understands that Jesus is the way the truth, and the life, and the only way to get to God, that is a relationship that the Lord has always been looking for it is revolutionary what happens in that person’s life. I am not brave, it is that the Lord thru the Holy Spirit and his word has made me understand the importance of obedience as he calls us to the Great Commission. There are dark days and nights as well, as the darkness and the enemies of the souls do not like for people to receive all the Lord offers or to get out of destructive cycles, but the Lord finds ways to encourage and keep me moving forward.
