Less of me, more of You

Reading from Romans 8:³¹ What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? ³² Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? ³³ Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. ³⁴ Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

³⁵ Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ³⁶ (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) ³⁷ No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. ³⁸ And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. ³⁹ No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. .

February 18, 2026. Yesterday stayed in, as because I was led to be in this Hotel room with a bathroom and a minifridge, I have to order food out and the hygiene in many restaurants in this country is not the best, due to many factors, as there is also no health department to regulate the hygiene, if people are washing their hands, if there is running water to wash the food items or the cooking utensils, as people get to have a relationship with the Lord thru Jesus those things are not understood. The good thing is that the Lord provides what is needed to get better, yesterday food was ordered and I spent the day constipated, then throwing up, then my stomach was loose, but the Lord with the offerings received led me as to what to get to hydrate and restore what came out. Ended up going to sleep close to 4AM and today after praying and listening to the word in the Bible app, heard the items to order to hydrate as well as asking the mom and son from the nearby restaurant to please make me a soup, that they would get paid when the soup was here and if the mom could bring me the soup to the room as I was very weak, which they did and it was also an opportunity to follow up with the son about his relationship with the Lord. The next place was reserved and paid in the next location and the apartment here in La Romana for 15 days the Holy Spirit lead to be in after Saturday, thru a woman that I was led to ask this week, who has a hard time believing in all of this, but the Lord has told me will come to Jesus before dying and that money is the Lord’s for HIS Great Commission for the souls.

I was led to ask a woman/sister in Christ to call me so that we could pray, as I received a call from the family’s lawyers following up on the request that the woman who was married to the man that was said was my father till 2018 who recently died as I had shared in a previous blog and when the Holy Spirit had me in the town they are from the woman and two of her daughters came to meet with me to ask me to resign the house he had left as an inheritance for all of us, that day I felt the evil and heard snakes, but one of the daughters kept looking at me and saying that peace that you reflect is not natural, that someone had given her a Bible as the mother kept saying that they were ready to remove my last name, as they have the DNA test that proves I was not his daughter, that was done back in 2018. I told the lawyers over the phone that I would do whatever is right in the eyes of the Lord, that I cannot do anything HE does not want me to do, that I cannot be in court or be in places the Holy Spirit has not told me to be over material things, as I have surrendered everything for the soul, that the time and money spent in a court has to be used in my case to get to the souls the Lord needs reached. One of the lawyers said he had grown up with the Christian values as his parents were Pentecostal, to which I sensed from the Holy Spirit to share the Good News of Jesus over the phone, as the two of the lawyers, one male and one female were listening and that I would get back to them to give them the answer the Holy Spirit had given me. The Holy Spirit had told me a while ago not to fight for anything material, as HE had what HE had for both my daughter and me, plus it will be for the Great Commission.

According to Jesus in Matthew 12:48-50, your true mother and brothers are those who do the will of God, not just those related by blood.

Biblical Context

In Matthew 12:48-50, Jesus was asked about his mother and brothers while teaching. He responded by pointing to his disciples and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother”. This statement emphasizes that spiritual obedience and commitment to God define true family relationships, extending beyond biological ties. 

Spiritual Meaning

• Mother: Symbolizes nurturing and guidance in faith. Anyone who follows God’s will and supports spiritual growth can be considered a mother in this sense.
• Brother: Represents companionship and shared purpose in God’s work. Those who live according to God’s commands are spiritually your brothers and sisters.
• Family Redefined: Jesus teaches that spiritual bonds through faith and obedience are as significant, if not more so, than biological relationships. 

Practical Implication

This teaching encourages believers to view their community of faith as a family. It highlights that loyalty to God and living according to His will creates a spiritual family that transcends traditional family boundaries. It also invites reflection on personal relationships, emphasizing shared values and spiritual support over mere blood relations.
In summary, your mother and brother, in the spiritual sense described by Jesus, are those who follow God’s will and participate in a life of faith, forming a family united by obedience and devotion rather than genetics.

Only the Holy Spirit knows where we will end up, as I have been in so many places and countries, all for the souls in the Great Commission. I cried and cried for all of their souls after we hung up and how the Holy Spirit reminded me of what good is it to gain the world and lose your soul, and how we have never seen a funeral with a moving truck behind it, as everything stays, but the soul is the one that goes where WE have chosen to go, whether we choose to have a relationship with Jesus and go to the New Heaven and New Earth or we don’t and we choose to go to a terrible place with gnashing, heat and darkness. People ask how a loving God can send people to Hell, which HE does not WE get to choose where we are going. Also, people ask how a loving God can allow evil things to happen and it is because people who do not have a relationship with the Holy Spirit thru Jesus are easily manipulated by the demons. We are either with God or not; it is all in the Word of the Bible. Luke 11: ²³ Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. All of that was shared with them, ending with me being led to do a prayer with them. The Holy Spirit thru the Bible and HIS anointing helps us understand that nothing is about us, that it is all spiritual, about the soul and what we need to understand to be good testimonies and people who do not just say we are Christians, but people who follow HIS example. I was told what to tell them after we hung up, an amount the Holy Spirit told me to tell their lawyers that will be for the Great Commission and some worship songs to send them, as well as these teachings that we get to put into practice in Jesus’ name:

The Bible advises settling legal disputes quickly to avoid harsh judgment, encouraging followers to, if necessary, give more than what is demanded rather than fighting back. Key verses suggest acting with grace and non-resistance, as shown in Matthew 5:25, 40 and Matthew 5:40-44, which call for loving enemies and avoiding vengeful litigation. 

Key Biblical Principles Regarding Court:

• Settle Quickly (Matthew 5:25): If someone takes you to court, try to reach an agreement quickly while on the way, rather than risking a judge’s harsher ruling.
• Give More Than Demanded (Matthew 5:40): “If someone wants to sue you in court and take your shirt, let him have your coat also”. This demonstrates a spirit of non-retaliation and grace, often interpreted as preferring to lose material goods rather than one’s peace or testimony.
• Avoid Suing Fellow Believers (1 Corinthians 6:1-7): The Apostle Paul advises against taking fellow believers to court, suggesting that it is better to be wronged or cheated than to bring disputes before unbelievers.
• Love Your Enemies (Matthew 5:44): The overall approach is to pray for those who hurt you, rather than seeking revenge. 

In summary, the biblical approach to being taken to court and giving up material items, is one of humility, reconciliation, and prioritizing spiritual principles over material losses. 

The whole situation is in the Lord’s hands, as I have asked HIM for HIS kingdom to come and will to be done, plus when we have given our lives to Jesus and are part of the Great Commission as the Holy Spirit’s ambassadors HE will fight the battles and our biggest blessing is that we will get to be part of the New Heaven and New Earth as we read, please read or re-read: Revelations 21 fully, as well as Galatians 5 and any Bible scripture mentioned here and in the blogs. Thankful for the Holy Spirit and all the understanding HE gives thru HIS word in the Bible.
