Less of me, more of You

Reading for today: Isaiah 41

February 16, 2026. Yesterday was led to stay in and rest, as also my throat was raspy, my nose was runny and my back was hurting, in signs for a cold. I was led to pray, take some medicine and nap, usually I am led to take rest in between the week, or once a week, depending on the territory. I was able to get some of the medicine, drinking water, vitamin C packets, copies of the Good News of Jesus paper, transportation and order made food Saturday, Sunday and today with the offering sent by the man/brother in Christ from the USA, that after I was led to ask sent the offering Saturday right when everything was almost finished. The Lord for a while has me asking and at times asking specific people. What a God we believe and serve. In this season it is warm or very hot during the day here in La Romana, DR, and at night is very cold, so the change of weather brings the cold. When I looked at the messages in the phone, I saw a voice message from one of the people the Holy Spirit in Barahona, DR had led to renew his passport, after the voice message he sent pictures of the inside and outside of the passport, as well as sharing how he was going to start recording Christian worship, and the Lord had given him a phone, after surrendering and now seeking and being filled by the Holy Spirit, which confirms that we do our part with the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is the one who convinces and takes care of the rest as the person we minister to surrenders to the Lord.

Today after eating some breakfast, listening to the Bible in the Book of Proverbs 31, putting on the full armor, started feeling like I was going to drop, which is not proven that it is Spiritual, as it only happens when I am heading out to bring the Holy Spirit out there for the souls, prayed and prayed, put on the full armor as we learn in Ephesians 6:10-18, prayed for the covering and blood of Jesus to cover both me and my daughter, got ready and headed out. First stopping by the restaurant downstairs to see if they could heat up some water to put a bag of orange tea in, but it was a busy time for them and I was led to keep going, waking thru the neighborhood to get to the copy place that was closed, kept walking and giving the Good News of Jesus paper person by person, then stopping at the pharmacy to get two more packets of the cold medicine to give the Good News of Jesus out loud, then taking a motorcycle taxi to the bigger plaza where the message was given out loud as well as the paper. More copies of the Good News of Jesus paper were made at the plaza; lunch was gotten as well as some other needed items. I was led to leave the items in the locker of the plaza and head over to the Preventiva, which is the place police here put the inmates to be processed to either wait for the bail money, be judged or be transferred to a jail. People here are able to visit their relatives, bring them food and there seems to be a very humane treatment, as far as the care for the person. This Preventiva has three cells where groups of men are in each one. Last week it was to share the Good News of Jesus, have them do the prayer of Salvation thru Jesus and pray for them, today it was to read Isaiah 41 specifically as the Holy Spirit led. It was a great reminder for me on Saturday, and it was a great reminder for them too, as they go thru the process they are going thru. A prayer as the Holy Spirit led was also done and one of the men called me over closer to the cell he was thankful the Lord had sent me there today, encouraging me by saying to keep doing what the Lord has me doing not to stop and shared how he had a dream and I heard it was the Holy Spirit speaking to him and to remind him of Paul, to pray for an anointing of the Holy Spirit as the Lord needs him in the jail and wherever he is placed for the souls. The man bowed his head and in that very moment one of the men started yelling as a lawyer came to check on specific people, but I was led to keep praying with the man touching his arm for the anointing of the Holy Spirit and encouraging him that no matter what he sees or does not see to keep his ears and eyes opened to the Lord. There as also a few families outside waiting to either see the people inside or wait for those who needed to be processed. There was a mother waiting for her Christian son, as she said that asked for the paper after hearing what I was led to share with them from the Holy Spirit, so that when he walked by, she could give it to the son. I was led to also pray with the families outside for encouragement and understanding from the Lord.

When getting back to the plaza to pick up the items left in the locker, I was led to take a motorcycle, in the plaza the Good News of Jesus was shared and I was led to take a taxi as there were a few items to carry, it was to speak to the taxi driver who mentioned that he has more time in the faith and the Lord has had me do so many things, to which the Holy Spirit had me tell him that the Lord is not about time, but about the Holy Spirit that in the last days as we read in Acts 2, which the last days are from when the Lord resurrected till HE comes back: Acts 2: Peter Addresses the Crowd ¹⁴ Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. ¹⁵ These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! ¹⁶ No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

¹⁷ “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. ¹⁸ Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. ¹⁹ I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. ²⁰ The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. (This happened as the Lord had me here in Santo Domingo)
²¹ And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

I was led to share how and the population the Holy Spirit has me mostly focus on the streets, in a relational way and he says the church he attends does campaigns, where they bring chairs, huge speakers, a microphone, a band and people just come each time to give their lives to Jesus, but that no one explains the Good News of Jesus as he heard that the Holy Spirit has me do, so they just keep coming and stepping up without understanding, he said it would be great if the pastor had me over, asked for my phone, so now whatever the Lord’s will is will happen, in Jesus name. The relational way of introducing Jesus is very powerful, just as HE did when he was here, as well as the first Apostles, they as well as me and those who are answering the Great Commission thru the Holy Spirit went to the towns, to the homes, to the businesses, the plazas and wherever the souls were, they and we are sent where the souls are, specifically. That is why the Holy Spirit has HIS people in different areas, such as teachers, judges, police, cooks, cleaners, and in all the different areas to reach the souls, to spread out the Holy Spirit thru us, we are set apart for HIS kingdom to come and will to be done and as we read in Leviticus 19, sanctification is being set apart for God, Jesus, Holy Spirit. I was led to take a shower, to ask a woman that was asked for an offering here, who owns a business, but she said no, to which I heard from the Holy Spirit that it is hard for her to give, and then take another two more of the medicines, as well as vegetable and fruit juice that was freshly bought and made thru the provision and direction of where to ask to be made by the Holy Spirit.

Watched a sermon from a woman that Lord many times has asked me to watch, as she is filled with the Holy Spirit and it reminded me that we will go thru suffering and evil, as there are many who’s purpose it is that, as they also do not want to surrender to Jesus, so they are easily manipulated to bring evil and suffering, but the Lord is always with those of us who choose HIM over and over, understanding that HE is in control, that HE is the savior and that we are never alone as we are loved by HIM, we love HIM back with also our obedience, how can we not obey such a wonderful, loving being, who pursues and pursues us till we understand. I was led to ask for the offering for the next place, which received part of it, and the Holy Spirit will let me know clearly the place and the time, as well as HE will keep leading as to who to ask or will move the people needed for the things needed moving forward. Got to speak to my daughter who called me, which is always a blessing, as the Holy Spirit more and more teaches me how to point her to the Lord and to trust HIM with her life as she trusts HIM with hers. Always praying for her. I could hear the sugar mill trains horns from the room the Holy Spirit has me in, maybe one day I get to see them, as I have been told mostly Haitians do does kind of jobs, which is a population that is very present here in this area, doing hard work. I have gotten to share the Good News of Jesus with the Haitian population too wherever the Holy Spirit has me, as they are also very present in the Dominican Republic, as our neighbors and are not always treated the best, and do hard jobs, wit not such a good pay, as there is a history here with the Haitians a long time trying to take over, but as Christians, called by the Holy Spirit we are to share the Good News of Jesus and whatever else the Holy Spirit leads with everyone, we have to be part of the difference, healing, reconciliation and peace, as we read in Matthew 5 and Leviticus 19:34: The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
