Less of me, more of You

Reading for today from John 17.

February 13, 2026. Wow, Today woke up after heavy very heavy spiritually days and nights, prayed and prayed, listened to the Bible in the Book of Proverbs which is the book the Holy Spirit has me in, had a hard time to get off the bed, and cried out to the Lord to please help me keep moving forward. I prayed to send me someone or people to pray with me and hug me, to give me a word from HIM and lift up the heaviness that was attacking me. It started raining after I took a shower and brush my teeth, then I made something to eat, learning that I don’t need hot water to make the instant coffee, we learn something every day, thank you Jesus, Holy Spirit.

When the rain stopped, I heard to go out to the left of the neighborhood the Holy Spirit has me in, went down with the garbage that had been gathered in some bags, as well as the beets, carrot, and lime so that the woman in the restaurant downstairs could make the vegetable and juice, as her and her son had offered to make me whatever I needed made, where the son is a God chosen young man whom the Holy Spirit has had me talk to him as HE leads to help the young man understand what the Holy Spirit needs him to understand. He mentioned that he admires how I voluntarily take the time to share about Jesus, to which I was prompted to let him know that it is because of what the Lord did on the cross, how HE came to live and give HIS life for us that I obey HIS call to surrender everything and do and be what the Holy Spirit says, that what he is seeing and others around the world where the Holy Spirit places me, with all the warfare, persecution, rejection, and all we go thru for the souls is what the Lord and the people who came before us went thru and represented that it is Biblical, that I am not an abnormally or something new, what it is that because of all the prosperity teachings and false teaching it is made to be seen that way, but we are brought to this earth to be loved by the Lord, love HIM and answer the Great Commission, that when we give our lives to Jesus we are giving our lives to Jesus for the souls, to go thru the process of rebirth and bring HIS Good News wherever HE places us, it is not to do what we want, desire, wish or dream, or even manifest, which is a new thing that the world has come up with, the enemies of our souls purpose is to get us as far away from the Lord, Salvation and purpose as possible, but those who are meant to understand will always understand, there is no stopping the Holy Spirit. The enemy does work hard, but even in that for those who are meant to understand that just helps accomplish the purpose of the Lord, Jesus, Holy Spirit. The young man listened attentively, and there were somethings he shared as well and shared for God’s glory that each time he speaks to me he gets closer to the Lord and understands more, to which I was led to tell him that that is why the Holy Spirit sends HIS ambassadors to specific places, and that is what makes us also understand the importance of obedience, which is so important. I was led to follow up with the nail place lady that had been spoken to by the Holy Spirit thru me the other day and ask if she could take off the nail polish as it was coming off, ask how she was doing with reading the Bible and talking to the Lord and was led to give her a hug. The Lord and HIS love as we read in 1 Corinthians 13 and Galatians 5. So much love for the souls. Jesus, Holy Spirit.

I was then led to keep sharing the Good News of Jesus to the left, as the Holy Spirit was leading walking business to business until arriving to a furniture, home accessories place, where there was a woman and as soon as I saw her I was led to ask her if she could pray for me, as she prayed I felt the weight lifting, my father speaking to me so clearly thru her and I was so thankful as for a few days now I had been praying for the Lord to provide people of HIS to pray over me, as I had been so attacked and heavy for the past few days, it was also a reminder that we are made to be in relationship with others. She made me coffee, gave me a couple of rings, which I had seen in another town, had tried some on and they were too big and the Lord gave two here. I felt so filled and at home with the presence of the Lord there that I was just sitting there at peace. She mentioned to be scared of the spiritual realm, as many are, to which the Holy Spirit had some words for her. I heard to give her one of the Dominican Republic bank numbers to please deposit when she could, to which she willingly said that we are made in relationship and that each part of the body plays a different role and that it was good the Lord had me asking, as communication is also important. She said she would deposit soon within a couple of days. I was also led to ask another sister, as I am up to $50 Dominican Pesos which is less than a dollar, but the Lord will never leave me of forsake me, he will move those who will give to get food and anything else needed as HE always does.

After leaving the lady there was a man sitting outside who mentioned his son is a pulpit evangelist, who does not believe in giving people papers for the Good News of Jesus, whom he tests a lot to see if he is still a Christian or if he is a true Christian and he said that non believers are like news reporters watching the Cristians to see if they fall, like a news reporter who followed a televangelist till he fell into temptation and made a lot of money with the news, I felt the spiritual warfare there, to which the Holy Spirt had me share some words with him and at the end pray over him for an anointing of the Holy Spirit as he repents and proclaims Jesus as his Lord and Savior and heard to tell him to not test his son and to pray for him and encourage him. The woman was led to tell me about an alley way next to her store filled with apartment and how afterhours there is a group of young women who stand at the corner to sell their bodies, which I sensed to go to the alley and the Good News of Jesus was given home to home out loud as well as with the paper, then went to get the half of the lunch that had been left in the room, to also get the vegetable and lime juice the woman at the nearby restaurant was making me for me. I sat to eat at the restaurant, as the mother and son offered, a man was sitting there who has been in a very demonic doctrine that is very legalistic called the teachers of the law, that are in Matthew 23, as the Lord had the disciple write a whole chapter to them, many having an encounter with Jesus, such as Nicodemus in John 3, as those who are meant to understand will understand. Many who have been challenged by the Holy Spirit in me in different places have also had an encounter with the Holy Spirit as HE has told me. The man questioned and questioned the fact that I don’t “belong” to a congregation, that I don’t depend on a person for the mission and the encounter with that doctrine is endless specially before or after a victorious day with the souls and the Holy Spirit.

After going up to the next corner I was led to stop in a shop where clothe seems to be made, there were a few women and men, I was led to give each person the Good News of Jesus paper and have them hold by their wrist to pray with one saying that he did not believe in the same Jesus or God that I did, with the Holy Spirit telling me to give him a hug and that once he understood who Jesus was he was going to become an evangelist like Paul. One of the young men who when I first was sent in there asked if what was on the paper was in the Bible, which is in John 14:6 and Romans 10 and became softer after the prayer, the Holy Spirit told him to pray for his boss friend to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit as he did, which is the most selfless thing we can do. Around 9PM I was led to go down and let the young women selling their bodies at the nearby corner that Jesus loves them, share my testimony of why I came to Jesus and how HE changed and impacted my life, they heard the Good News of Jesus, were told about this page for the Study and Discipleship with the Book of Matthew, said the prayer of salvation and the Holy Spirit led us to say it as they held one another in a circle, hugs were given to them as led and then the Good News of Jesus paper was given on the way as well as out loud. So much happens and it is done in the Great Commission, the important thing is for the Lord’s kingdom to come and will be done, in Jesus’ name. Here is John 17, which is the reading I was led to tell the woman that prayed over me to read after she prayed, with great reminders from the Lord:

John 17. The Prayer of Jesus.  After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you. ² For you have given him authority over everyone. He gives eternal life to each one you have given him. ³ And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. ⁴ I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. ⁵ Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began. ⁶ “I have revealed you to the ones you gave me from this world. They were always yours. You gave them to me, and they have kept your word. ⁷ Now they know that everything I have is a gift from you, ⁸ for I have passed on to them the message you gave me. They accepted it and know that I came from you, and they believe you sent me.

⁹ “My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. ¹⁰ All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory. ¹¹ Now I am departing from the world; they are staying in this world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, you have given me your name;^[b] now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are. ¹² During my time here, I protected them by the power of the name you gave me.^[c] I guarded them so that not one was lost, except the one headed for destruction, as the Scriptures foretold. ¹³ “Now I am coming to you. I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy. ¹⁴ I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. ¹⁵ I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. ¹⁶ They do not belong to this world any more than I do. ¹⁷ Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. ¹⁸ Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. ¹⁹ And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.

²⁰ “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. ²¹ I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. ²² “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. ²³ I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. ²⁴ Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! ²⁵ “O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me. ²⁶ I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”

There is a lot going on in this area, as the areas where the Holy Spirit places me to be the light in HIS name and with HIS Holy Spirit, many men used by the enemy too to be fresh and intimidate, but the Holy Spirit has me share the Good News of Jesus with them and words that impact them to stop being channels for Satan and the principalities. There was a young man walking out of the room who asked me where the local store to get soda was and asked if the area was dangerous and as ed I could only say that I am a missionary to place his life in Jesus hands and HE will protect him, gave him the Good News of Jesus paper and kept walking. I ended the night with worship and crying out to the Lord for all who have received HIS message today and beyond, asking HIM to please lead me always and to provide all that was needed for this weekend and beyond, all for the souls in the Great Commission. Thankful for those who are praying for both my daughter and I whom I am trusting is in the Lord’s path and hands, as well as those who have been and will be of monetary support for this Great Commission.

2 Corinthians 9: ⁶ Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. ⁷ Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
