Less of me, more of You

Reading for today from: Matthew 7: Ask, Seek, Knock

⁷ “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. ⁸ For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. ⁹ “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? ¹⁰ Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?

February 1, 2026. Yesterday I was led to stay in, do the laundry, which is a blessing that there are a washer and a dryer in this location, as well as running water, electricity and an air conditioner, which is not always the case. The music became so so loud at one point that I could feel my souls drumming inside, as if my heart was going a thousand beats per hour, which led me to bring the Good News of Jesus as respect and many other things are only understood thru the Holy Spirit and reading HIS Bible. Today woke up, stayed a bit in bed talking to the Holy Spirit in me, heated up a bit of water to make oatmeal, in an electrical coffee pot, asked the Lord what HE wanted me to do today and I heard to stay in. I then cried out to the Lord as there is no kitchen in this place and I had no money left to order lunch and dinner, as well as getting drinking water, then as I often hear, I heard: ASK. The salon owner here in Bani, which the salon is above the room had said she would hope the Lord would send me to her home, to which I heard no, as what needed to be done which was for her to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior, as well as the young woman who works with her, and the impartation of the Holy Spirit was done, and that was my part. It is so important to do and ONLY do as the Holy Spirit says, HE knows best. Today I heard to stay in watch and receive from an online message and share this understanding, as led to be written and shared by the Holy Spirit.

Zechariah 4: ⁶ Then he said to me, “This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

I raised my daughter with what I had as knowledge of being a parent, which was not much, as I did not have a compass thru the Holy Spirit and the Bible, but there was a sense of protecting her from everything, so as I thought that she would not go thru any of the things that I went thru, which was not realistic, which is something the Holy Spirit made me understand, as we each have a testimony and a journey and evil exists, which the Lord did not create. It wasn’t until one day I was exhausted of having 3 jobs at a time, with 15-minute break through the whole day, taking my daughter back and forth to school, taking her to activities, that I got on my knees and said: I don’t know who you are or if you exist, but I need help, I am tired, you either take me or help me. The next day I get a call from a politician who said he could hire my daughter and I to collect signatures, I said yes and we were placed in front of a supermarket. While outside this lady, which now I understand was from the Holy Spirit, answering my cry for help, told me that she was part of this Bible study that I would really like, by then I did not trust anyone, had been thru so much with what I understood then that were people who would just come into my life to hurt me and reject me, growing up I was placed here and there, had no love or communication from people, so I let her know what I understood religious people to be, but she said: the Lord has ways of calling us and gave me the address. The Lord knows the plans HE has with us before our mother’s womb and HE makes it happen in HIS perfect timing, not before or after.

By the time I was invited to this Bible study my daughter was a teenager, I had done all kinds of jobs such as a translator for the PACT program that taught people what to do in case of an emergency, drove a small school bus that allowed me to transport my daughter as well, teachers aid, tried to go to college for early childhood education, did people’s hair in their homes and in a hair salon, taught private Spanish classes, all to be able to pay the bills and have her in some activities, but I was tired, exhausted. Then I was led to go to another town and there was a young man that came up to me and invited me to the SAME Bible study the lady had invited me to, at that point I was so mad and wanted nothing to do with people, really overweight and broken, I needed a savior, I could not do it on my own strength anymore. The young man told me about the Bible study and gave me the address, I thought to myself this is so weird, as I did not know the Holy Spirit then, now they will follow me everywhere and I told my daughter lock the door I am going to see what it is all about. I went to the apartment where the address that was given to me was, people were crying and reading John 4, with the Samaritan woman, then they spoke about what Jesus did on the cross, the person who started the group approached me and told me that I was a leader and the person being trained to be the pastor told me that if I stayed I would know who I was to GOD. I then started attending with my daughter, whom I belief was being called by the Holy Spirit too.

Over time they did the study of the Gospels(Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, the good news of Jesus) found a location and made me the hospitality person, as Apostles which I later thru an organization learned that Apostles are given the major gifts, as we read in Ephesians 4, to commission people to the Great Commission, by first evangelizing, then teaching, sometimes prophesying, as some people need to see to believe, pastoring as some people need more follow up than others, but is all to teach people how to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit so that they too can do the same, Christianity was never made for people to depend on people or a building, which is understood thru the Holy Spirit. We are redeemed thru Jesus to redeem others to Jesus. One day I called the woman that was helping or assisting the man who was called to start the church plant and told her that I wanted to accept Jesus as my Lord and savior and she asked surprised if over the phone and I said yes, I got on my knees Infront of the same toilet in the apartment my daughter and I used to live in and gave by life to Christ, I felt the shower of love and baptism of the Holy Spirit and I sensed a rush from the Holy Spirit to get Baptist, they asked me if I understood what I was saying and I told them to get a tub, a bucket, whatever was needed and they contacted a church who’s call was to restore homeless people and addicts to Jesus, what a mighty God we serve and believe in. I will never forget that day, I had never felt love the way I have felt since that day, where I don’t feel alone, rejected and know what my purpose and why I was born for, and where I am going after all of this, that everything that happens in our lives before Jesus is a preparation for the souls, to relate to the people we will share the Good News of Jesus with, not by reading about it, but by living it in full flesh and spirit. That everything that comes thru our hands as ambassadors of the Holy Spirit is for the souls.

The hunger for everything Jesus, Holy Spirit started, I started reading the Bible, which the first book I heard to read was Revelations then Acts, which I heard it is our manual, as everything the first Disciples who became Apostles did thru the authority and power of the Holy Spirit. At the time of the conversion from broken to redeemed I was working as a community program coordinator for the department of health, which in my mind was the best job I ever had, with benefits, professionals and a very flexible schedule, for once with one job we were able to pay all of our bills. I was earning about $40,000 dollars a year, the best I had ever earned according to what I had lived so far. Then one day I hear: You have to surrender your job and live by faith. Honestly, I was not sure where that was coming from, as I had never met anyone that only served the Lord without working for an income. I kept hearing in 30 days I need you to surrender your job and looking for work, what I did not understand at that time was that the government in Yonkers has a beautification plan to change some of the areas in Yonkers to make them look prettier according to them. The Holy Spirit had other plans for HIS creation, so one day there was a post on a social media page I no longer have, as one day the Lord asked me to do a 40 day fast from social media and I never went back, for people to come help the founder of the local shelter, as the authorities of the city of Yonkers would come in the middle of the night to do inspections. That was at the end of 2015. I told the Lord after listening to the men’s testimonies outside the shelter, show me how you want me to do this. I gave my life to Jesus at the end of 2010, HE set me apart, equipped me, filled me up with HIS Holy Spirit and called me to the Great Commission. I heard audibly, after hearing the different ways the Holy Spirit speaks that I would be church planting, which is the Great Commission, to which in that moment I asked: what about my daughter and I heard she would be provided. I heard the call was starting with the homeless, gang members, drug dealers, addicts, previously incarcerated, in the men’s jail for three years as part of the reentry program, LGBTQ+ and more, starting in Yonkers, NY. I cried and cried that day as I could definitely relate to the brokenness, pain, rejection and much more that people go thru before accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. After we repent and proclaim Jesus as our Lord and Savior we get baptized by immersion in water for the death and resurrection of the new life, get filled with the Holy Spirit who becomes the container so that we can get healed, have a purpose, never be alone, have eternal life, a guide and much more, but before Jesus we don’t know where to place our brokenness produced by the enemies of our souls and sin and we either drink it, sleep around, smoke it or eat it. In my case I grew up part of my life with people who would either say they were Buddhist, or atheist, or non-practicing “catholic” and one aunt who said she was a “Christian” but spoke about the devil more than Jesus and my grandma who was a charismatic catholic, but they speak about more the deeds than about Jesus, she went to a church and served people. I became pregnant with my daughter at a young age, gave birth to her at 20 years old, thru trying to find a savior from the situation I was living with my mother and stepfather, as it happens when we don’t have Jesus we seek for saviors in people.

The Holy Spirit after surrendering the job had the director of the YMCA in downtown Yonkers at that time call me to tell me the Lord had told him to help me, they gave a free space that would normally cost $150 dollars an hour for $0, with the projectors and all needed in the room, such as chairs. The Holy Spirit sent a Chinese pastor from Chinatown for a few Saturdays to teach me how to evangelize. The men and one or two women would come to the organization to have dinner and take a shower, but some would just come up, a room full of men and one woman or two hungry for the redeeming love of the Lord, I felt more ministered myself, as the Holy Spirit told me to just read Matthew and let the word thru the Holy Spirit work, the warfare started in our home, as my daughter and I would have the same nightmares, our relationship started to shift, all because the enemies of our souls, the devil and the principalities don’t want people to go to the New Heaven and the New Earth, they get upset their recruits that they have worked so hard to get leave, but we are soldiers, literal soldiers in a war for the souls, with the authority and filling of the Holy Spirit, the best and strongest weapon of all. The American Bible society sent us boxes and boxes of Bilingual, Spanish and English Bibles, life books were also sent for evangelizing, tracks, a laptop, all that was needed to raise these disciples. The warfare also happened thru some of the men that were very possessed by all they had picked up in the streets, but one by one they started calming down. At times I would hear: You have not because you ask not, but coming from an employee, employer mentality I would think: God is God so HE knows what is needed so I also did not know how to ask, as I had never ASKED for anything in my life, everything needed materially was given to me growing up and then I worked and worked to earn a living before being called to the Great Commission full time. I would hear I need you to surrender looking for a job, until I understood that the Holy Spirit needed me free and ASKING. Depending on other people’s obedience to the Lord in giving to something they cannot see, but is of GOD, HOLY SPIRIT. Giving and receiving is only understood thru Jesus, Holy Spirit, as in the world people give to receive and in Christianity we give and receive for the people’s souls, so that people can be saved thru Jesus, have a purpose, healing, eternal life, the Holy Spirit, fruits and gifts to become part of the Great Commission. What an honor and blessing it is to be people of God, have access to HIS precious creation, Jesus, Holy Spirit. I cry every time the Holy Spirit sends me somewhere, as that is so much love that as Matthew 24 says that HE will come when all have heard this Good News of Jesus. The Lord has sent me to a country for two people, such a specific God, although we get to go thru trials and tribulations, be persecuted, falsely accused, attacked, it is all worth it, as it does not compare to when we get to the New Heaven and the New Earth, that is the biggest blessing to be in the Lord’s presence for eternity, all for the souls in the Great Commission.

Matthew 5: One day as he saw the crowds gathering, Jesus went up on the mountainside and sat down. His disciples gathered around him, ² and he began to teach them.

The Beatitudes

³ “God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him,^[a]
    for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
⁴ God blesses those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.
⁵ God blesses those who are humble,
    for they will inherit the whole earth.
⁶ God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice,^[b]
    for they will be satisfied.
⁷ God blesses those who are merciful,
    for they will be shown mercy.
⁸ God blesses those whose hearts are pure,
    for they will see God.
⁹ God blesses those who work for peace,
    for they will be called the children of God.
¹⁰ God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right,
    for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

¹¹ “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. ¹² Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

Teaching about Salt and Light

¹³ “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.

¹⁴ “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. ¹⁵ No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. ¹⁶ In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Today I can say: I finally, as a full time ambassador of the Holy Spirit that I understand the ASKING, is not asking for my own gain, or for me, or for people to see how much I have, it is asking so that the purposes of the Holy Spirit for the souls are accomplished. Today I can say I have no shame in asking, as it is for the souls, everything that comes thru my hands is for the Lord’s kingdom to come and will be done, it is all used for the souls in the Great Commission. I don’t want anything for me anymore; all my desires have been fully filled with the Lord’s desire. Thank you, Jesus, Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has had me in so many different places, locations, situations, all over Central America, North America, South America, Europe, the middle east, the Caribbean, currently in the Dominican Republic and all I ask of is for it to be less of me more of the Holy Spirit, to remove everything that is not of HIS from my life so that HIS will can be done. I have made mistakes, fallen into temptation, which after repenting and getting back up, has been a reminder of HIS love and having more mercy with others. All for the souls in the Great Commission. To worship the Lord, Jesus, Holy Spirit I live.

Thankful for everyone who is praying for both my daughter and I, for those who have also been moved to give money and be part of this Great Commission. The Holy Spirit thanks you, as so many have been touched by your obedience in detaching, in your believing without seeing. Thank you!
