1 John 4:¹⁸ There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Exodus 15:²⁶ saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”

January 10, 2026. It has taken me a few days to write this post, update, testimony as so much has happened since the last one. From arriving to this town called Barahona, Dominican Republic; my body has been very attacked in ways that there are days and nights where my body and organs are in a lot of pain, feeling in the morning that I am going to collapse, reminding me of when I was first called and answered the call in Yonkers, NY to answer the Great Commission starting there for the Homeless, gang members, drug dealers, in the jails, shelters and more where I would have to lay on the floor, as every bone in my body felt like it was breaking and could only say Jesus, Jesus, Jesus to be able to keep moving. My daughter and I would have the same nightmares and principalities would show up at the doors with no face with some lifting me up to intimidate and exhaust. The spiritual realm is real, it is just that the Holy Spirit teaches us that the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it, and other teachings in the Bible that teach us everything the Lord went thru as well as the people that came before us for our souls. I do not share all of this to bring fear but with the Lord’s leading in case someone else is going thru this. Everything in our lives is spiritual, not phycological or natural, it’s all spiritual.

In one of the days the Lord brought me out to bring the Good News of Jesus paper, as well as out loud person by person in the area where the Holy Spirit has me to also find the insulin leaves needed for the tea HE has me make I was led to walk and saw a hair salon where the Holy Spirit led me to give the Good News of Jesus paper to the owner as well as a woman that was getting her hair done, then I was led to pray for the salon owner, who also prayed for me and gave me $200 Dominican pesos, as she was led to give that day. Giving and obedience are only understood thru the Holy Spirit, as the Bible tells us that the Lord loves a cheerful giver. Then she was led to tell me about a woman who she believed has the leaves in her home. I was led to leave the hair salon and was led to go into the nearby supermarket to share the Good News of Jesus out loud and take out some money from the ATM in the supermarket to get some needed items after. I was led to take a motor taxi outside the supermarket to get to the home of the lady, when arriving after directing the motor taxi the woman opened the door, I was led to give her the Good News of Jesus paper and pray with her, and for her son too who was in a wheelchair. Before I was led to leave the woman offered that if I needed a room, she has a spare one, which when people feel the Holy Spirit their reaction is to be thankful and offer that they have. It is very hot here, as far as the temperature so being hydrated and wearing cool clothes is very important. Also in each place there are different access to different cooking situations, hear is more heating and making fast foods such as boiled green banana, potatoes and have been led to get roasted chicken to eat with the root vegetables. It is so important to have the filling and anointing of the Holy Spirit and be called to do the Great Commission, as a lot is endured for the souls, but when we are anointed by the Holy Spirit HE gives understanding of the suffering.

I then kept walking to the local businesses one by one, sharing the Good News of Jesus out loud as well as with the paper. Another day I was led to go to a restaurant in the market area and give the Good News of Jesus out loud and with the paper. There were two men that drive motor taxis that had said they are Christians and one of them said he preaches with a speaker, they accompanied me at one point to one of the local precincts where I did not feel the Holy Spirit in them, then to the public hospital and to a neighborhood but they kept highlighting the negative of each situation and my eyes would get blurry. One of these days I was led to go to the local jail, and I started getting a bad sense about them and I asked the Lord that if I was to not continue doing the Great Commission with them to not let them come to the jail and the next morning one of them called that something had come up and I was reminded of how the discernment and obedience had grown more with all that happened in Brisa del Este, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I then heard to block them.

The night before going to the jail the principalities attacked my body, kept me awake and started putting guilty thoughts about things from the past. I prayed and prayed till I got a bit of sleep. I still heard to go to the local jail, I heard what to wear, made a quick breakfast as led by the Holy Spirit. When arriving to the jail there was a line outside, but I was led by the Holy Spirit to go directly to the guard telling him I am a missionary pastor, as that is what I have heard to introduce myself as in many places, and he told me that that day was not a good day as the men had conjugal visit day. There is always going to be opposition where we are sent to do the Great Commission, that is why we must put on the full armor, pray, read the word in the Bible and do as the Holy Spirit says. Then the guard pointed me to the director of the jail who was outside, only the Lord could have done that, as the Holy Spirit after reminded me of when HE first called me how a man wanted me to take the chaplain class to answer the Great Commission and the Holy Spirit told me to go to a huge local park do two rounds and in the second round HE told me that where ever HE would send me the doors will be opened which regardless of the opposition from the darkness, the enemies of our souls, which only serves to bring us closer to the Lord and fulfill HIS purposes, the Lord’s purposes will always be accomplished. Nothing has the power to stop the Lord for the souls. I was led to walk over to a group of men who were being prayed for by who seemed to be a priest, as he did the Lord’s prayer and did the sign of the cross on them. I was led to share the Good News of Jesus with them, for them to say the prayer of salvation and then pray with them. They were thankful, then I walked over to the director who pointed me to go to his office to fill out some paperwork, which I told one of the officials there who then went to verify with him, who was led to take me to the back to which he left me where the jail is, which is like house divided in sections where the men are. Each section with a guard inside, where the Good News of Jesus as given, they were reminded of Romans 8 and Psalms 91, did the prayer of salvation and asked for the Good News of Jesus to give to each inmate, they became disciples in that very moment like the woman at the well, in John 4. It’s amazing how the principalities and the enemies of our souls know when we will be going out and torment at night and before leaving and when the ground is hit, after putting on the full armor as we read in Ephesians 6:10-18 it all goes away and the Great Commission is done, with people having different reactions as well as being thankful. Like yesterday where I was led to go to another local precinct, give the Good News of Jesus paper and pray with one of the officials, then the motor taxi took me to the Malecon, beach are and the Good News of Jesus paper and words were given one person at a time and I was led to sit for a bit to enjoy the ocean breeze and the view. There are teachers of the law who ask me what denomination I am and where is my church, others think I am a foreigner, as they are used to “missionaries” coming to give money and save them. There is a great book that talks about this called: When helping hurts. We are exiles as Hebrews 11 so beautifully explains but we are not the saviors, we are ambassadors redeemed by the Holy Spirit thru Jesus as we read in John 3, John 14:6 and Romans 10 to redeem others to Jesus so that people can receive forgiveness, healing, restoration, health, purpose, eternal life and much more to do the same for others, it is not to just receive Jesus , go to a building for the rest of our lives, be expectators and expect to receive all the Lord has for us and become part of the New Heaven and New Earth as we read in Revelations 21, it is to be filled with the Holy Spirit to be part of the Great Commission, with the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

After the Malecon/beach area I was led to leave by 5PM, to take a motor taxi to the ice cream shop, as the central park is in that area, which only the Holy Spirit knew, to give the Good News of Jesus to the motor taxi, which many of the motor taxi drivers that the Lord has placed my way for HIS glory have heard the Good News of Jesus and have done the prayer of salvation and have said they would go into this page for the Study/discipleship with the Book of Matthew. The motor taxi driver man shared where he is usually stopped that if I needed transportation to bring the message to let him know even if there was no money, the Holy Spirit touched him. The seed gets planted, without thinking who will receive it or not, but trusting that as the Holy Spirit sent someone will receive. The Holy Spirit also gave me a list to make a fruit and vegetable juice with beets, carrots, turmeric, ginger and coconut water to be taken little by little each day. The mother of the owner of the apartment offered yesterday to do the laundry and hang it. This morning, I called her to be thankful and to ask for the reusable bag where the clothes were in and for a nigh gown that had not been hung, she sent the bag with the daughter of the apartment owner but said she did not see the nightgown. I was reminded that I had given up more than that and that the Lord would provide to get another one if that one does not appear. We get to leave and lose things in the Great Commission, being led to only be attached to the Holy Spirit, as we read in Matthew 10.

Today I woke up and heard to stay in work on this blog post after making breakfast, listening to the book of Jeremiah which talks about the consequences of all the decisions people make against God, it is a powerful book, like the rest of the Bible. I will be making more of the insulin, cinnamon tea and fenugreek, as well as the vegetable and fruits juice, as led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit also has me drinking flavored iv’s. The Holy Spirit told me as I was taking a shower that the way I have been feeling have also been spiritual, as the Holy Spirit reveals what we are dealing with in each place, which are each principalities that are trying to take over the place, here there is a lot of corruption, adultery, sexual immorality, witchcraft, idolatry, teachers of the law and much more happening here, but as people get to know Jesus as their Lord and savior and are filled with the Holy Spirit all of that changes. I am trusting the Lord will keep providing thru whoever HE desires or has me ask for the rest of the days here, as well as moving forward. I now have $175 Dominican pesos left as of today, as I forgot to pay the last motor taxi driver $75 pesos when he dropped me off, as I was not feeling well and forgot to reach into my pocket to pay, to which I am praying he either comes back to get them, or the Lord’s kingdom comes. Just as I had finished writing this post a brother in Christ who had been led to be asked to send, sent $200 dollars. Just as the money and edible items was finishing and yesterday I heard from the Holy Spirit that what I had left was to go get the offering. Thank you Jesús/Holy Spirit. 

Thankful for all who are praying for both my daughter and I, who have also been of monetary support for this Great Commission and will continue to be of support in Jesus’s name.
