Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading from Psalm 91 and Hebrews 11.

December 26, 2025. Today woke up, spoke to the Holy Spirit for some time and listened to HIM too. Then I was led to get ready and as I got ready and ate breakfast listened to the Bible in Jeremiah where HE has me. After getting ready was led to go pray with the mom and the daughter who owns the apartment for the room I am in, the mom right away mentioned that she noticed that I did not go out yesterday as I did not stop by to pray, it’s amazing how right away people miss the Holy Spirit’s love and presence. I prayed as the Holy Spirit led, there is a sense of oppression in this town when it comes to prayer, as I feel like it’s hard to speak, but it still gets done. I started feeling like I was going to collapse, I prayed and asked the Lord for help and put on the full armor for myself as well as the covering of the blood of Jesus. Once I hit the ground in the market I called a motorcycle taxi, which is called concho here in the Dominican Republic, there was not answer and right away another one came by to take me to the place where more copies would be made of the new and extended Good News of Jesus paper, which came out smaller, but with more details. The people were really helpful, and the Holy Spirit assigned two men to one make the copies and cut them too. One of them after finishing asked if I could give him one of the papers and went to the back. The Good News of Jesus paper was given in the market area, which is the area I heard, then going into a cafeteria, which is what the restaurants are called in Spanish comedor. Before going into the comedor there was a man that the Holy Spirit had connected me to the day before yesterday and he turned out to be the brother of another motortaxi driver that was there too, the Holy Spirit led for the three of us to share a meal, to share testimonies, be encouraged and go to a few places to share the Good News of Jesus and for people to say the prayer of salvation.

One of those places was the police precinct where there were a few police men and 3 inmates, one of them who was so encouraged as he mentioned that today he was incarcerated for not having a Dominican ID but he said he did have it, he is of Haitian decent and mentioned he is a Christian, he was so encouraged because he sensed the Holy Spirit sent us to encourage him, I was reminded of Paul who spent a long part of the Great Commission in jail, the man was so encouraged that he was so thankful that the Lord would send him a clear message also thru Psalms 91 which is the reading that I was led to read. The two brothers also had words for the other men and before going in to see the brother in Christ and the two other men who received Jesus, I was led to pray with the policemen there and to say the Good News of Jesus with them. The ways of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.

After the police precinct I heard for the three of us to go to the hospital and there were so many people, the Good News of Jesus was given and shared out loud, with the prayer of salvation said for people to receive Jesus as their Lord and savior, we walked thru the Hospital giving the Good News of Jesus and after I was led to pray and say the Good News of Jesus with a few people, anointing one man as well. When finishing I was led to give the two men the amount of money I had heard to give them and asked one if he could take me to the supermarket where the Good News of Jesus was also shared. The brother helped bring the things upstairs and left. I was led to get some clothe pins to hold the clothe as the apartment owner was led to put a clothe line and will show me how to use the washer so that I can wash and squeeze the clothe in. When arriving to the room I was led as always to take a shower leaving everything that had happened during the day in the Lord’s hands, feeling exhausted as so much comes out when we minister and evangelize, then I became sick to my stomach, threw up, took some tea, ate the food that was bought, prayed, took some Pepto-Bismol, and felt better, thank God, with which I was reminded of how fragile we are and that it is only because of the Holy Spirit that anything gets done, HE is our strength in our weakness. The ways of the God, as in the description only the room and the bathroom in the room were available and thru the Holy Spirit and prayers their hearts have been opening to have all that is needed to do the Great Commission. All for the souls. Thank you, Jesus, Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 12: 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

Matthew 28: The Great Commission

¹⁶ Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. ¹⁷ When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. ¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Zechariah 4: ⁶ So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
