Matthew 23: The Teachers of the Law and the Proud Religious Law-Keepers 23 Then Jesus talked to the many people and to His followers. 2 He said, “The teachers of the Law and the proud religious law-keepers have put themselves in Moses’ place as teachers. 3 Do what they tell you to do and keep on doing it. But do not follow what they do. They preach but do not obey their own preaching. 4 They make heavy loads and put them on the shoulders of men. But they will not help lift them with a finger. 5 Everything they do, they do to be seen of men. They have words from the Holy Writings written in large letters on their left arm and forehead and they make wide trimming for their clothes. 6 They like to have the important places at big suppers and the best seats in the Jewish places of worship. 7 They like to have people show respect to them as they stand in the center of town where people gather. They like to be called teacher.
8 “But you are not to be called teacher. There is only one Teacher, and all of you are brothers. 9 Do not call any man here on earth your father. There is only one Father and He is in heaven. 10 You are not to be called leader. There is only one Leader and He is Christ.
11 “He who is greatest among you will be the one to care for you. 12 The person who thinks he is important will find out how little he is worth. The person who is not trying to honor himself will be made important.
Jesus Speaks Sharp Words to the Proud Religious Law-Keepers
13 “It is bad for you, teachers of the Law and proud religious law-keepers, you who pretend to be someone you are not! You keep men from going into the holy nation of heaven. You are not going in yourselves, and you do not allow those to go in who are about to go in. 14 It is bad for you, teachers of the Law and proud religious law-keepers, you who pretend to be someone you are not! (*You take houses from poor women whose husbands have died. Then you try to cover it up by making long prayers. You will be punished all the more because of this.) 15 It is bad for you, teachers of the Law and proud religious law-keepers, you who pretend to be someone you are not! You go over land and sea to win one follower. When you have him, you make him twice as much a child of hell as you are.
16 “It is bad for you, blind leaders! You say, ‘Whoever makes a promise by the house of God, his promise is worth nothing. But whoever makes a promise by the gold of the house of God, then his promise has to be kept.’ 17 You fools and blind men! Which is greater, the gold or the house of God that makes the gold holy? 18 You say, ‘Whoever will promise by the altar, his promise does not have to be kept. But whoever makes a promise by the gift on the altar, then his promise has to be kept.’ 19 You fools and blind men! Which is greater, the gift, or the altar that makes the gift holy? 20 Whoever makes a promise by the altar, promises by it and by everything on it. 21 Whoever makes a promise by the house of God, promises by it and by Him Who is in it. 22 Whoever makes a promise by heaven, promises by the throne of God and by Him Who sits there.
23 “It is bad for you, teachers of the Law and proud religious law-keepers, you who pretend to be someone you are not! You give one-tenth part of your spices, and have not done the most important things of the Law, such as thinking what is right and wrong, and having pity and faith. These you should have done and still have done the other things also. 24 You blind leaders, you take a small bug out of your cup but you swallow a camel!
25 “It is bad for you, teachers of the Law and proud religious law-keepers, you who pretend to be someone you are not! You clean the outside of the cup and plate, but leave the inside full of strong bad desires and are not able to keep from doing sinful things. 26 You blind proud religious law-keepers! Clean the inside of the cup and plate, then the outside will be clean also.
27 “It is bad for you, teachers of the Law and proud religious law-keepers, you who pretend to be someone you are not! You are like graves that have been made white and look beautiful on the outside. But inside you are full of the bones of dead men and of every sinful thing. 28 As men look at you, you seem to be good and right but inside you are full of sin. You pretend to be someone you are not.
29 “It is bad for you, teachers of the Law and proud religious law-keepers, you who pretend to be someone you are not! You make buildings for the graves of the early preachers, and you make the graves beautiful of those who are right with God. 30 You say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our early fathers, we would not have helped kill the early preachers.’ 31 In this way, you are showing that you are the sons of those who killed the early preachers. 32 You might as well finish what your early fathers did. 33 You snakes! You family of snakes! How can you be kept from hell?
34 “Because of this, I am going to keep on sending to you men who speak for God and wise men and teachers of the Law. Some of them you will kill and nail to a cross. Some of them you will beat in your places of worship. You will make it very hard for them as they go from city to city. 35 Because of this, you will be guilty of the blood of all those right with God on the earth. It will be from the blood of Abel who was right with God to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachias. He was the one you killed between the house of God and the altar. 36 For sure, I tell you, all these things will come on the people of this day.
Jesus Sorrows Over Jerusalem
37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem! You kill the men who speak for God and throw stones at those who were sent to you. How many times I wanted to gather your children around Me, as a chicken gathers her young ones under her wings. But you would not let Me. 38 See! Your house is empty. 39 I say to you, you will not see Me again until you will say, ‘Great is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

December 19, 2025. Today I woke up heard what to wear, prayed to and spoke to the Holy Spirit, made some breakfast, got ready to pick up an offering that was sent to get the room in the next town, as of the coming Tuesday, shared some as led by the Holy Spirit and put on the full armor as we read in Ephesians 6:10-18. Two other offering came in one from a brother in the USA and another from a sister in Trinidad and Tobago. After running the errands that I was led to do a woman who the Holy Spirit had connected me to in the ark who was handing out tracks with the message of Jesus coming called me that she was bringing me some food to which there was some hesitation, as I was so tired as I was not able to go to sleep till 3 AM processing and talking to the Lord. She is of a group that beliefs you are a Christian according to how you are dressed not because they sense the Holy Spirit. There was a call to her blood sister, and the Holy Spirit gave some words, then she received a call from a man that said he is a prophet to which I heard to not receive anything, he started “prophesying” things for next year, I told him to read a scripture I heard for him to read and handed the phone to the woman. The culture of “prophets” is huge in those groups, as they don’t have a relationship or the anointing or baptism of the Holy Spirit, they have to wait for someone to talk to them from the Lord, it is like being in the Old Testament. John 4:21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
This is the same group that helped in the crucifixion of the Lord, when they were so challenged by the Lord that they chose that a man that according to the law in that time would have been crucified so that they can crucify the Lord instead. Matthew 27:16-26: 16 At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus[a] Barabbas. 17 So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” 18 For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him. 19 While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.” 20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed. 21 “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor. “Barabbas,” they answered. 22 “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify him!”
23 “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!” 24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!” 25 All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!” 26 Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged and handed him over to be crucified.
The Lord came to give HIS life for us, but each person helped in the fulfilling of the Lord giving HIS life for us. From Judas to the guards to the people, to the enemy of our souls, each played an important role in the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior and from time to time we get to encounter these same groups, which are helpful to remind us of our identity in the Lord. I have been sent to villages where the teachers of the law call me all kinds of names, but the purpose of the Lord still gets accomplished with some having an encounter with the Holy Spirit as Nicodemus did with the Lord in John 3. In this town I was sent to a “pastor’s” association meeting to have them repent and get on their knees and invite them to be part of the Saturday prayer with Joshua 6 so that the walls, the spiritual walls can fall down, they questioned me so much and ended up not being part of the prayers. Then I was sent to a few of the local churches to do the same and it was revealed that because there are 157 registered and not registered churches here and they are not coming out of the four walls to answer the Great Commission the Holy Spirit had to send one, which was a question I would ask HIM at the beginning of the Lord calling me that how come with so many “churches” the Holy Spirit had to send someone, and it is because HE is more concerned about the souls and Matthew 24 being fulfilled, than anything else.
I do feel the Lord’s sadness each time I have an encounter with these groups as HE did and John the Baptist who called them brood of vipers. Matthew 12: 4 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. 35 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
It is amazing for me to hear when people often tell me they have never met someone who talks to fervently about the Lord, who lives by faith and who lives for the Lord, it is Biblical, it is all over the Bible and this obedience and faith should be the normal in Christianity, but again that is why the Lord sends us. John 15:14: 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. There is so much reverence for the Holy Spirit in the streets, the people in the street do not question, they don’t care what denomination or title you have they feel the Holy Spirit, and they want the deliverance, forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, fruits and gifts the Holy Spirit offers. The woman has been mentioning me coming to her church to give a word, but today she says that I have to wear a long skirt, cover all my arms as for them sanctification is in the clothe not in the Holy Spirit. I heard to send a preaching about a man that went thru this with a group and to tell her to get someone else to go, as the Holy Spirit is limitless and will use a willing body to bring a word. It is sad how these groups limit the Holy Spirit and miss out on some much, they are so miserable all the time, unbelivers and are so judgmental and condemning, but the Lord rises people filled with HIS gifts and fruits to answer the Great Commission. Their job is to push people away from the faith, but the Lord makes sure those who are meant to understand do understand. Thanking the Holy Spirit for the HIS presence, direction and the Bible who guides us and moves us in HIS way all for the souls in the Great Commission.
Revelations 21: Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” 5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Matthew 24: 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Thankful for those who have been praying for both my daughter and I, as well as those who have been and will be of monetary support in Jesus’ name. Always praying that the Lord’s kingdom comes and will is done in Jesus’ name. Amen.
