Reading for today: Psalms 23

October 7, 2025. Yesterday I woke up, prayed, got ready and headed out to the laundry mat to leave the clothes to wash per pound, as in the place the Holy Spirit has me there are no washers and dryers. The place where the clothes are taken is close to the main park, where I had heard to bring the Good News of Jesus person by person. The Good News of Jesus was given, with also listening to testimonies of people who had had an encounter with the Holy Spirit and another being so heavily attacked that he ended up in the streets wondering. The man who is the brother in Christ who drives a motor taxi passed by and said hello, which was a reminder from the Lord that there will always be a driver in each place, as at times he does not charge me and after giving the Good News of Jesus in the park person by person I was led to ask him to take me to the hospital, as since Brisa del Este I have been feeling some days a heaviness in my head, fast breathing and as if I was going to collapse. He took me to the hospital, and dropped me off. When arriving to the hospital I asked where I could be seen and I was pointed to the emergency where something very interesting happened, the woman asked if I had company and I said not that I am a missionary pastor not from the town, to which she said that I needed someone to accompany me to go back and forth to the different areas needed to go. I told her to please take care of me as I felt like I was going to collapse. She took my blood pressure which she found low and asked the nurses to put a few things thru my veins and asked me to do lab work before putting them on. In the hospital area where I was placed to put the medications in my veins a family came with their mom, they all received the Good News of Jesus papers, a long with anyone that I was led to give one as I passed them by. One of the daughters offered to get the lab results and followed up with me the whole time as she mentioned that she felt the Holy Spirit’s presence with me. The blood was drawn twice and two medications went thru my veins. I had never seen that where I could not be taken care of because I am alone, one of us is worth a thousand the Bible says and it was shown there. I was in the hospital from 11 am to around 5:45 pm, where people were prayed for and comforted by the Holy Spirit in me regardless of the fact that I was feeling horrible the Holy Spirit still came thru, which was a reminder as always of what the Holy Spirit said thru Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: ⁹ Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. ¹⁰ That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. While being in the hospital someone came over and brought a plate with plantains and salami and the lady next to me said: that was God that sent it to you. I never felt alone in the hospital. There is also a sense of fear in this country with people robbing and doing bad things to people, which reminded me of 1 John 4:18: “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love”. This scripture of the Bible is understood after we have encountered the marvelous, amazing love of the Lord, thru Jesus/ Holy Spirit.

I was then led to ask the motor taxi brother to please pick me up, giving the Good News of Jesus papers. When arriving to the hotel where the Holy Spirit has me the workers were wondering where I was as I did not come to get lunch and I told them, one offered to get the leaves needed to make a natural tea with soursop leaves(which here is called guanabana), insuline lives and cinnamon, she lives close by and will make the tea to bring it and she was also prayed for for healing and will also take the tea and keep some of the branches to plant and have. Before we prayed for her healing I was led to have her do the prayer of salvation which she did. Another one of the workers offered to make a fruits and vegetables juice again, as they have taken turns in making them for me, putting them in containers for me to have in the fridge. In the midst of it all the Holy Spirit sent provision to as of today extend the room for 6 more nights, HE keeps extending it here and I also heard so I could get better, what a God we serve. One of the local business people left me the insuline leaves and the tea will be made today to bring it to me. Everything that the Holy Spirit is doing thru each person here in Bonao is helping me heal from all the evil and the distractions the enemy sent my way in Brisa del Este, to try to harden my heart, which he does from time to time. It is nice to also be cared for and to receive HIS care and love thru HIS people. The woman made de soursop, insulin and cinnamon tea which is such a blessing.

Today I woke up and was feeling terrible and after praying and praying also in the middle of the night and in the morning, the workers heated up the breakfast for me, then I took a nap, after they gave me a few bottles of water and I woke up feeling better. I am trusting that with the Holy Spirit help, prayers and natural things HE provides thru the community HE has placed around me I will get better. I feel HIS immense love with all the people HE has placed around me and who are being vessels of the Holy Spirit to get better. James 1:17: ¹⁷ Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens.^[a] He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. I was led to order a soup called sancocho for lunch, which is a soup that has different meats, root vegetables and is very rich in flavor.

Three other people that live in different parts of this country, who one was baptized this year and the other two have been ministered were led to send offerings, which served for me and three other people to eat as well. Most of the nights I am led to share meals with some of the homeless people together with the Good News of Jesus. Today I was also led to get another suitcase to change the items to, as the other one the zipper inside broke, this one is a bit smaller, but the items seem to all fit in there. I was led to take some t-shirts out to donate a few days ago. From time to time I am led to take out items, keeping only what is needed for the journey in the Great Commission. People are impacted and I am I by the fact that I don’t have a home to go back to, the Holy Spirit for sometime has had me wherever HE needs me to be. Today the Holy Spirit thru my daughter told me that everything that has happened is to relate to others even more and then after we hang up, I heard that is also to take us to the next level. It made me feel better hearing that reminder. Thankful for those who have been praying for both my daughter and I with whom I have been dreaming a lot about. Thankful for those who have also been of monetary support, which as you can read is all for the souls in the Great Commission.
