Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading from Genesis 1:27: “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

September 23,2025. Today woke up, said good morning to the Holy Spirit, prayed, made some breakfast and listened to the Bible in the Book of Isaiah, which is the book the Holy Spirit has me in this season. Then did the laundry in a very old washer that also has a side to squeeze the clothes after rinsing it, then putting it to dry on the rooftop, as led by the Holy Spirit to do, made lunch and felt so so so sleepy as it has happened before. To do the laundry there is a hose to wash, drain the machine, refill the machine to rinse and then place the clothes where it gets squeezed. I cried and felt so numb, which has happened before in the waiting in the Lord for the provision to go to the next town I am hearing to go the day after tomorrow, which is Thursday.

Yesterday I was led to go to the local courthouse, which it seems that other than the owner of this property the governmental places have been the focus. The Good News of Jesus was given on the way, then inside the courthouse, with people receiving the Good News of Jesus paper and prayer for some too. After the courthouse I was led to go to a nearby corner store to get some needed items and the owner was led to complete to get some cookies, another man was led to get me 3 bananas and the owner gave me a small cup of coffee. The young man who works there had some questions about Genesis 1:27, the young man needed to understand how the Lord came as a man thru Mary as we read in Matthew 1, to live everything we would live and die for us to leave us the Holy Spirit so we can get healing, understanding, restoration, forgiveness, purpose, identity, fruits and gift and be part of the Great commission as we read in Matthew 28: 16-20. There is so much unbelief and lack of understanding of the Holy Spirit in this country and has been the experience where the Holy Spirit has sent me. It is sad at times as people know of a God but lack the understanding of the authority of the Holy Spirit or what HE does or represent, that is why HE raises people to go where HE needs that understanding which Matthew 24:14 reminds us: “And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.”

I can relate a lot at times with Abraham, Moses and Paul, with what they also went thru with people, but all of it shows how much the Lord loves HIS creation and is making sure those who are meant to understand understand. It is not easy as so much is gone thru, but the Holy Spirit makes sure we understand the importance of obedience.

Revelations 21: 8””But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.””

Galatians 5: 19-23: When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”

John 14:6: “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
‭Romans 10: 8-17: In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” But not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, “Lord, who has believed our message?” So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.”

I was led to stay and sit in the corner store which are called Colmado in the Dominican Republic, cut more of the Good News of Jesus as copies had been led to be made before going to the courthouse. The owner and I had a conversation about the call in my life to which he commented that it sounded hard to be in different places without family or knowing anyone, but it’s how the Holy Spirit had done it with me and keeps me moving forward where ever HE needs revival or for people to hear the message. I do have to say that the enemy has tried so hard to harden my heart and to stop me, but the Holy Spirit gets me out and keeps me moving forward. It is definitely felt, as from March till this month I was brutally attacked, I am still healing, but moving forward as I ask the Holy Spirit questions and cry sometimes. The owner was touched by the Holy Spirit and dropped the price from $50 dollars a night to $35, to which there were $200 dollars left in the account from the offerings received and $175 was sent to him for the remaining 5 nights, which is this coming Thursday. $20 something dollars are left in the account. I say that the owner was touched as the Bible tells us in James 1:17, which states, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights”. 

There are mosquitos and flies, as in many parts of this country, therefore the windows and door have to stay shut. There are also little lizards.

It is extremely dry here and hot, thanks the Lord they seem to have a system for the light not to go off and there has been water in the shower to bathe, which is not always the case here in the Dominican Republic. 🇩🇴

Thankful for those who are praying for both my daughter and I. Thankful also for those who have been of financial support which is needed as Thursday the stay ends here and I will need money for the transportation, food and the place to stay in that next town.
