Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading for today: Isaiah 54.

September 13, 2025. Today after waking up and going back to sleep several times last night, woke up, listened to the Bible in Isaiah, which is the book the Holy Spirit has me in, prayed, cried as I have been having crying moment in the midst of the waiting, as before Monday $400 dollars have to be paid here for the time in this apartment, have to have the money for transportation, and money for the next place and town. In the midst of all I was led to wash the sheets and some dirty clothe I had, and ask a couple of sisters to let me know a time to talk and pray. A sister that has followed this journey from the beginning told me she was available in that moment, we spoke and prayed, being reminded of the importance of resting in the Lord, trusting in the Lord and the things we have to be thankful for that many do not have today, such as water, drinking water, the basic needs and our children. We spoke and then followed by prayer and confirmations from the Lord. It was a powerful time with the Holy Spirit. I don’t know what the Lord is doing but I know HE will do something between today and tomorrow as the woman who runs the place has trusted that the rent will be paid as the Lord provides and has been vouching with the owner who asked if even last week could be paid to pay the expenses in the apartment.

In the midst of the waiting I was reminded of the people the Lord has moved in this community and beyond for HIS kingdom to come and will to be done on earth, the motorcycle driver who is willing to take me places and bring me items needed, offering to assist even if I don’t have money, the neighbor who has a corner store offering to bring me needed items without asking for a tip or more that the items are worth, the neighbors who have been led to serve me food, those who have offered to clean the apartment, do the dishes and take me to the hospital when needed. One of the things that the enemy in certain seasons wants to make us forget is that we are never alone, that one of us is worth a thousand as the Holy Spirit tells us in the Bible.

I can say this was one of the hardest seasons from I would say august of last year till last month in Brisa del Este where I dealt with every principality known and unknown, so so much evil, extortion, witchcraft, before that my “mothers” house where she is dealing with the Jezebel Spirit, my brother with Balaam and Leviathan, the man who cleans with witchcraft, sexual immorality and much more, where my “brother” with his spirits would come to the window to take pictures and videos of me, as well as in the hallway, the man who cleans would stand on the stairs to see me bathing and would stand behind me so close when I would be in the kitchen or open areas. The area they are in was filled with altars and witchraft, human trafficking and much more and the Good News of Jesus was given. Before that going from state to state and country to country to bring the Good News of Jesus, healing, restoration, eternal life, deliverance, and much more, as people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, sometimes being able to baptize them thru water submersion and sometimes not.

James 1: ² Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. ³ For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. ⁴ So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Every step of the way the Holy Spirit has made sure one way or another that I had what I needed and more to share with others and I am thankful for all that have been part of that. Please keep in your prayers the places that right now do not have drinking water, the basic needs that the Lord keeps sending HIS people to bring those resources and most importantly the Good News of Jesus.

Romans 8: ³⁵ Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ³⁶ (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep) ³⁷ No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

Thanking the Lord for those who have served as HIS hands and feet for this Great Commission and for those who are praying for both my daughter and I, in Jesus name.
