Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading from: Ephesians 6:10-18: ¹⁰ A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. ¹¹ Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. ¹² For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

¹³ Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. ¹⁴ Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. ¹⁵ For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. ¹⁶ In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. ¹⁷ Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. ¹⁸ Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

September 2, 2025. Today woke up got ready to get together with two women who have received Jesus here in Yamasa, Monte Plata, who have received Jesus and each time the three of us get together the Lord provides for food and a dessert and where ever we end up going the Good News of Jesus is shared. Yesterday after going to the mountain for five days; the young man was told to go, as when we came from the mountain he continued playing a killing video game and would not talk to me and was very disrespectful. I had a sense of draining and anger around him in the Spirit and did not sleep well while he was here. Then the Holy Spirit put a preaching about demons that are assigned to the chosen ones to distract as they can not destroy. I insisted in him leaving which from Friday till Sunday he refused to do with a lot of confidence, he still ate and did things here, while not sleeping and playing that game. On Monday I told him in Jesus name to please leave and he called his brother in law whom he had mentioned does witchraft and he waited till around 4 pm for him to come pick him up. I still fed him and put an internet package for him before he left. Then the man came to pick him up and he left. I felt such a relief, cried and cried and cried, as it has been so much with him and his family for 5 months. God knows. I have to stay away from him, far far away from him. They were all an assignment from the darkness, each with a different Spirit of the darkness. A plan of distraction to try to harden my heart and take me off track. For the first time I asked the Lord: why did he not protect me more? Maybe in the midst of the principalities working so hard to bring my Holy Spirit guard down and bring so much evil, my spiritual hearing was affected in that time with so many words, by placing the young man with me as well. Those Spirits in them from the darkness were making me feel rejected, old, unwanted, weak, I did hear distraction and a song about guarding my heart as a soul tie with the young man tried to also be done.

A “soul tie” describes a deep emotional and spiritual connection between two people, sometimes forming through intimacy, friendship, or family bonds, and is often associated with terms like “souls becoming knit together” found in the Bible. These ties can be positive, aligning with God’s will, or negative, hindering spiritual growth and potentially opening a door for ungodly influences, and are typically broken through repentance, prayer, and seeking God’s deliverance.
 

What is a Soul Tie? 

• A soul tie is a powerful spiritual bond that connects two souls, sometimes described as their “souls becoming knit together”.
• It’s a non-biblical term, but it stems from biblical concepts like “becoming one flesh” in marriage, as referenced in Genesis.

Examples in the Bible 

• Positive Example:The profound love between David and Jonathan, where Jonathan’s “soul was knit to the soul of David,” illustrates a healthy, God-honoring connection.
• Negative Example:Judah’s statement about his father’s life being bound to his son Benjamin’s life signifies an unhealthy and potentially destructive soul tie.

How Soul Ties Are Formed 

• Soul ties can form through various relationships, including:
  • Sexual relationships outside of marriage, which can create strong and sometimes ungodly bonds.
  • Unhealthy or sinful relationships.
  • Deep friendships or family bonds.

Consequences of Soul Ties

• Positive Ties:Can foster spiritual growth and emotional well-being. 
• Negative Ties:Can lead to spiritual fragmentation, emotional entanglement, and an inability to fully worship God. 
• Spiritual Bondage:Believers may feel “bound up” or restricted in their Christian walk, even after accepting Christ, due to lingering soul ties. 
• Demonic Influence:In some teachings, ungodly soul ties are seen as a spiritual “doorway” through which demonic entities can influence a person’s life. 

Breaking Ungodly Soul Ties 

• The process of breaking these ties involves:
  • Repentance: Acknowledging and turning away from the sin that led to the unhealthy connection.
  • Forgiveness: Forgiving the other person for any harm caused.
  • Prayer: Asking God to sever the tie and restore the soul.
  • Freedom in Christ: Relying on the Holy Spirit and Christ’s sacrifice to bring liberty from any form of bondage, aligning with Galatians 5:1.

Proverbs 4:23, which states: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it”. This verse from the Book of Proverbs emphasizes that the heart is the core from which all actions and consequences in life originate, making it essential to protect it.
 

Other translations of Proverbs 4:23 include: 

• English Standard Version (ESV): “Keep your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life”.
• New Living Translation (NLT): “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life”.
• King James Version (KJV): “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”.

I cried for 3 months not being able to get up from the bed or leave that house in Brisa del Este, there was so much evil, non stop evil, extortion, manipulation, non stop, non stop. I would also hear that because of the evil of many many people’s faith would grow cold as we read in Matthew 24. A sister in Christ called me yesterday while the young man/ assignment from the darkness was still here and we prayed, the Holy Spirit like in the mountain gave encouraging words thru her. While in the mountain the Lord returned the peace and joy that I had not felt for 5 months since being in Brisa del Este and being sent here to Yamasa, regardless of the warfare that rose in the mountain, the Great Commission was still done there too, as many were encouraged, anointed and the testimony of the walk of faith was given as led by the Holy Spirit and the Lord’s purposes were accomplished.

I spent some quality time with the two women today, replaced the purse I had which was breaking, as heard from the Holy Spirit with what a brother in Christ was led to send yesterday, which covered the 7 day extension till this Thursday and now the Lord will provide more, as I am hearing to go to another town for tomorrow and then this place was extended for one more week. I hear to trust the Lord. While with the women when arriving to the restaurant I felt like collapsing, the sun became so so so bright in the Spirit and then we ate, spoke, prayed for the food, the Good News of Jesus was given out loud in the restaurant, we ate, I took left over and we headed to the ice cream shop where the Good News of Jesus was given to three women and then I felt the sun very bright and like collapsing again, the women offered to take me to the hospital as they mentioned I was very cold. I told them to take me to the house and if anything I would let them know later. I got the place, put on house clothe, took a nap and woke up to make a snack to the heat up the food and heard the extending of the place and to stay to hear from the Lord and work on this blog post/testimony. The two women expressed how they felt sadness for me leaving to which I told them that the human connections are real and that that happens in each place the Holy Spirit sends me where people receive his Love as a fruit of the Spirit, which is a an Agape love that only expects for people to come to Jesus and receive all HE gives thru the Holy Spirit as we read in Galatians 5. The Lord knows what will happen moving forward, whom HE will tell me to ask or who HE will move to pay the next seven days witch is like $200 dollars and what will happen as HE has me here and moves me in HIS will all for the souls in the Great Commission. Only the Lord knows all we go thru for the souls and the Great Commission, Romans 8, Hebrews 11 and Revelations 21(Read them) are an encouragement as that is where we will be as we have obeyed here on earth. In Jesus name.
