Readings: Exodus 5: Bricks Without Straw Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.’”

Exodus 7: ¹⁶ Then say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness. But until now you have not listened.

Exodus 9:13  The Plague of Hail ¹³ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, confront Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me,

The Bible’s Book of Exodus describes the 10 plagues of Egypt in verses 7:14–11:10. 

Plague verses

Purpose of the plagues

The plagues were God’s punishment of Egypt to force Pharaoh to free the enslaved Israelites. Each plague confronted Pharaoh and one of his Egyptian gods. Revealed by the Holy Spirit the plagues represented the rebellion and resistance of satan to the Lord and what happens and will happen to the enemy and his recruits when the Lord comes back. Moses represents God’s sent to redeem HIS people as the Holy Spirit does in every nation and time in history until all have heard, understood and put into action the Good News of Jesus and the Great Commission.

Significance of the plagues

The death of Egypt’s firstborn symbolized a revolution in religious thought. The firstborn males of Israel belonged to God and were to be redeemed. The Lord is a protector and redeemer of HIS people for ever and ever, Amen.

The pharaoh was the ruler of ancient Egypt, and was considered a divine intermediary between the gods and the people, even thought the Lord left a command in Exodus 20: And God spoke all these words: ² “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. ³ “You shall have no other gods before^[a] me. ⁴ “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. ⁵ You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, ⁶ but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. ⁷ “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.. The pharaoh was a political leader, a religious leader, and a statesman. 

Significance

• Divine ruler The pharaoh was seen as a god chosen to lead the people and maintain order. Pharaoh represents, as revealed by the Holy Spirit: the enemies of our souls, satan, principalities of darkness.
• Religious leader The pharaoh was the head of the religion, and oversaw all state religious activity. 
• Political leader The pharaoh made laws, waged war, collected taxes, and oversaw all the land in Egypt. 
• Symbol of power The pharaoh’s power was symbolized by the golden mask worn by Tutankhamun’s mummy. 

Pharaoh’s role 

• Preserved the god-given/principality order, called maat
• Directed the use of Egypt’s land
• Was responsible for his people’s economic and spiritual welfare
• Dispensed justice to his subjects
• The snake which Biblically represent satan was part of his daily wear.

Pharaoh’s titles in that time: “Lord of the Two Lands and “High Priest of Every Temple. 

February 25, 2025. Today woke up, listened to the Bible where I heard to listen, prayed, asked the Holy Spirit as everyday to fill me up with all of the fruits of the spirit, thanking the Lord for what HE did on the cross thru Jesus. Then heard to go out and disciple the man who cleans for the mother and the son, who recently accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and whom the Holy Spirit thru me has been teaching about the Holy Spirit thru Ezequiel 1, discernment of spirits with 1 Corinthians 12 and 1 John 4, the different fruits of the Holy Spirit which we get thru repenting, proclaiming Jesus as our Lord and Savior, getting baptized thru submersion in water, by a person filled with the Holy Spirit, that we read in Galatians 5, and Gifts of the Holy Spirit that we read in Romans 12, Ephesians 4 and 1 Corinthians 12, 1 Corinthians 13 and 1 Corinthians 14. Then giving him some tools on rebuking and taking authority of the different principalities by rebuking in Jesus name and the power and authority the name of Jesus has in the spiritual realm. Then I was asking the man who cleans for them what were the branches coming out of the kitchen walls and he said termites that eat the wood inside the walls, as these buildings are from the colonial time, they are very old, to which the Holy Spirit had me say the story of Moses and the Pharaoh and the meaning in the spiritual realm of each person and situation, as well as the plagues, the man was familiar with the story, as every year here in the Dominican Republic they give different Bible stories as soap operas or movies and the story of Moses is one of the ones played each year on the television. I was led to pray for and with the man who cleans as the Holy Spirit led, also praying for his finger to be healed and for what ever else the Holy Spirit led. The mother had exams from the masters program she is doing from Friday till today, which was so refreshing as the son had to be in the room for that time and her in the living room taking the test, which gave opportunity to use the kitchen and the rooftop peacefully.

Then in the afternoon the light went out and only the room fan from the ceiling was working, but since I can not open the room window or any of the doors with the principalities specially of the son who tries to open the door to intimidate, drain and distract, take pictures and or videos thru also the room window, which the Holy Spirit reminding me of having dreams when I was around 5 years old or between 5 years old and 9 years old which was the time I was left with the man thought to be my father, which turns out he is not and the stepmother who were highly used for a lot of pain and suffering as those who do not have a relationship with Jesus, where in those years I would have prophetic dreams of what was to come and one of those dreams was of principalities without a face looking at me thru a window, which has happened before and it is happening with the son and what ever other principalities are in the area, which will be gone once people repent and proclaim Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I was led as the mother was taking one of the final test from 5pm to 7pm to go up to the rooftop to have dinner and spend some time with the Lord, with first seeing a cloud with HIS presence on the top and a heart which appears every where for a while now as everywhere HE places me. The Holy Spirit has ways and I cry with the Lord’s presence and overwhelming love as I write this. Then staying up there from 5:30pm till almost 6pm, then being led to shower surrendering all to the Lord, putting the full armor, rebuking the evil principalities as has been the case for a few days now.

After all that was done received a message from a brother in Christ, who I had been led by the Holy Spirit the other day and before to please send an offering, whom the Holy Spirit connected to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit in NY, who was led to send $200 thru a sending company. The brother in Christ sent me the picture of the receipt which contains the tracking number, upon receiving it I was led to share with the brother in Christ that the funds had come in the perfect time of the Lord as the last $100 pesos were used yesterday to feed a disciple in the neighborhood the Holy Spirit has been sending me weekly. I heard that there was a need to ask, as many do not understand what is being done and will not willingly give. The Lord knows it all, I am only a willing vessel, an imperfect willing vessel trying to get to the New Heaven and the New Earth, all for the souls and the Great Commission.

I was led to then pray as to what the money was for and was told where to go tomorrow to get the funds and what to do with it, to also get some needed personal use items for the Great Commission, all for the Great Commission. The mother of the house gave some small breads and a $1,000 pesos for transportation as she described, as well as some chips, which the Holy Spirit had told me that HE will even use the principalities for the provision, which HE revealed the principality in the mother was doing that so I could come with her to another city on Monday to which I heard not to go as that is also the day for the Great Commission and everything else the Holy Spirit said about how the world and the principalities and enemies of our souls, until there is repentance thru understanding what the Lord did on the cross with so much love, do things to get something out of it or some personal gain, but Christians that we will know by their Holy Spirit fruits will do things for the purpose of the souls and people having all that having a relationship with the Holy Spirit thru Jesus gives. It is all spiritual, all for the souls and for those who are meant to understand to understand. In Jesus name.

Romans 8: The future glory: ¹⁸ Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. ¹⁹ For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. ²⁰ Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, ²¹ the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. ²² For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. ²³ And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children,^[j] including the new bodies he has promised us. ²⁴ We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope^[k] for it. ²⁵ But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)

²⁶ And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. ²⁷ And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers^[l] in harmony with God’s own will. ²⁸ And we know that God causes everything to work together^[m] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. ²⁹ For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn^[n] among many brothers and sisters. ³⁰ And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

³¹ What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? ³² Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? ³³ Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. ³⁴ Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us. ³⁵ Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ³⁶ (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”^[o]) ³⁷ No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

³⁸ And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,^[p] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. ³⁹ No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
