Discernment of Spirits…

Matthew 18:¹²“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? ¹³And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! ¹⁴In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.

1 John 4:¹⁸Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

Romans 10: ¹⁴But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? ¹⁵And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!

February 5, 2025. Today after listening to the Bible where the Holy Spirit has me in Ezequiel, making breakfast as led for both my mother and I, listening and sharing with her, as well as praying doing somethings around the house and ministering to the man who comes to help my mom to do some of the house chores, started getting the clothe the Holy Spirit told me to wear, as well as the accessories to go to the area HE was sending me to a nearby public hospital. On the way to the hospital that is around 6 minutes walking; I was led to give the Good News of Jesus paper to people outside of businesses and homes, which is normal here because of the weather that is very pleasant in these months, in the summer is super hot.

There is a lot of socializing done in the streets in these area, it is also a colonial zone, where the “colonizers” left a lot of the architectures and structures, as well as their beliefs and the slaves belief. Here in the Dominican Republic a few groups of individuals tried to take over, such as the french, USA, Haitians, Spaniards, Italian, and other cultures because of the richness of the land, as it has happened in many countries. These individuals also left their beliefs such as catholicism and other beliefs, that is often mixed with witchcraft, as the people that the individuals who were brought first were people who were in Jail, as the queen of Spain in that time only allowed to bring those individuals, which makes up for the deep rooted customs of the different parts of the island. It is very important that when the Holy Spirit sends us somewhere that we research the history of the place and that we ask for discernment as to what we will be dealing with spiritually as well as historically in the place to know how to pray and or interciede for the place in Jesus name. The Holy Spirit will guide and give discernment for the souls. Once the person or people receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior all the deep rooted situations will be healed and there is understanding of what is what in each instance. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 New International Version (NIV)The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

In the hospital the Good News of given out loud in the waiting area, as well as person by person out side of the hospital. Then on the way out the Good News of Jesus was given out meeting people who would say they were “Christian” but I would hear counterfeit, my eyes would get very blurry and my left arm’s veins pup up in sign of a lot of darkness in the person or people. In some instances I have had the discernment spiritually but have not acted upon it, as if I had to learn something from the situation and the Lord was permitting it so others could be ministered thru it. The Holy Spirit will tell us who each person is, it is a matter of listening and being obedient. John 10:27-29New Living Translation²⁷My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. ²⁸I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, ²⁹for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else.^[a] No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The more we are in the Holy Spirit’s presence that lives in us as we repent, proclaim Jesus as our Lord and Savior, read the Bible and humble ourselves before HIM: Matthew 16:24-25New Living Translation²⁴Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. ²⁵If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.

Discernment of spirit is a gift from the Holy Spirit that allows one to distinguish between what is from God and what is not. It is a spiritual exercise that involves examining the nature of spiritual states, both in oneself and in others.
Discernment of spirit is described in the Bible in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.
Characteristics of Discernment of Spirit:
-It allows one to distinguish between the truth of God’s Word and deceptive doctrines.
-It is a spiritual exercise that seeks the presence of God.
-It allows one to distinguish between good and evil spirits.
-It allows one to recognize what is contrary to God’s Word.
-It allows one to distinguish between what is good and what is much better.
How Discernment of Spirit is Practiced:
-It is practiced through faith in Jesus and love, as the gift of the Holy Spirit. Galatian 5
-It is practiced by using God’s Word to “test the spirits” 1 John 4
-It is practiced through the senses. Each part of the body is a spiritual sense, such as the nose which is discernment, the eyes seeing the spiritual realm, the ears: hearing the spiritual realm. All for the Great Commission.

As the day went by I was led to pray for healing and anointing with people as the Holy Spirit led. At the end of the day was led to shower giving everything that happened during the day as the Holy Spirit leads to do, putting on the full armor as we read in Ephesians 6:10-18 at the beginning of the day, the middle of the day and at the end of day, praying that everything that is and was delivered goes where it needs to go, as we can not be possessed by spirits of the darkness when we have the Holy Spirit in us, unless we give them permission thru sex but they can latch on to us, so we must release them to go where ever the Lord needs them to go, each time we pray for someone to be delivered after they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior not before, because of what we read in: Matthew 12:43-45English Standard Version Return of an Unclean Spirit ⁴³“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. ⁴⁴Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. ⁴⁵Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.” and or anoint someone.

February 7, 2025. Then rested in the Lord while doing yesterday, as have been led to learn to rest in the Lord the days HE leads to rest, as Holy Spirit teaches us and teaches us, and reminds us Exodus 20: ⁸“Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. ⁹You have six days each week for your ordinary work, ¹⁰but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. ¹¹For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy. In the Bible, the Sabbath is a day of rest and worship that takes place on the seventh day. The word “Sabbath” comes from the Hebrew word shabbāth, which means “rest”.

Today, February 7, 2025; I was led to go to a neighborhood called La 42, where the Holy Spirit led to go, where there is a lot deep rooted pain, but at the same time the Holy Spirit loves that place so much, mostly the souls, as explained in the blog called: Pastors, Teachers, Prophets, Apostles and Evangelist. Where ever the Lord knows that the Great Commission needs to be done, HE sends HIS people for those who are meant to understand to understand. The Lord is always after HIS creation, HE never gives up seeking us. The Good News of Jesus was given person by person with the paper, as well as asking for the music to be lowered to share the Good News of Jesus out loud with the fruit of the spirit of Love, which is what we all need to heal, be restored, find purpose, identity, eternal life and all the Lord offers thru Jesus for us to be part of the Great Commission and be loved by HIM. People often ask me if I am not afraid in these places and the Lord reminds me of: 1 John 4:¹⁶And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. ¹⁷This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. The Holy Spirit also where ever HE sends us lets us see people not for the way they are in the moment, but deeper than that HE lets us see the person as the gifts of the spirit that the person will be, in Jesus name and for the Great Commission. We are filled with HIS Holy Spirit and commissioned, just as we read in Acts 2.
