Reading for today, asking the Holy Spirit to let us understand what we need to understand, in Jesus name: Ephesians 4, Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12,13 and 14.
The Capotillo neighborhood is one of the most popular in the capital of the Dominican Republic, combative in political and social situations in the recent past and now famous even internationally for Calle 42, a space par excellence for the so-called “teteos” and a breeding ground for the so-called urban artists or dembowseros.
Like the other streets, La 42 is a space for hard-working people, but also for a minority “from the underworld,” people who have lost their way due to drug and alcohol consumption. For many it is one of the most dangerous places, however, for residents it has a bad reputation and they consider La 42 like any other in the sector.
Capotillo is a neighborhood like any other with shortcomings, with fighters, organized merchants and neighborhood associations that fight to improve their living conditions.
The 42 is a short road of less than 600 meters that borders to the south with Avenida Duarte and to the north with Respaldo José Martí. Its popularity is such that part of the intersection with Respaldo José Martí is called the 42. It is a space that is always active, night and day it is the same, people who “enjoy their life without limits.” (Information gathered from: Diario libre)
In it is the Mercado Nuevo, a market full of people filled with hope to move forward with what they can sell and do.
January 29, 2025. Today after waking up every two hours, as it sometimes happens when powerful things will happen the next day, hearing the scripture the Holy Spirit led for me to listen to in the book of acts and speaking to the Holy Spirit, as of yesterday I had heard the name of Mercado Nuevo, which is a market in La 42. From July 2024-January 2025 the Holy Spirit had me go there at night, once a week, bringing the Good News of Jesus to what is called one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the country, but where the Lord’s creation is, where Pastors, Prodigals, Prophets, Teachers, Evangelist and Apostles are, where the Lord in HIS immense love seeks us till HE finds us. No one when they are little wants to end up in a destructive situation, but it happens specially when there are big purposes of the Lord in our lives for the Great Commission. The enemy provides destructive patterns to try to stop the purposes of the Lord, such as drugs, alcohol, the opposite gender or same gender, and anything to hinder the identity the Lord has given us from our mother’s womb. The bigger the gift of the Holy Spirit the bigger the attacks from our mother’s womb, but Jesus wins. For example my mother felt three times when pregnant with me, I was pronounced dead when giving birth to my daughter and she was born with the umbilical cord surrounding her neck. The bigger the purpose the bigger the attacks, but Jesus/ Holy Spirit WINS. Jeremiah 1:5 “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”
When going to La 42, I heard the specific time to leave, which taxi company to take, as the Holy Spirit is so specific. The taxi driver from an application had recently received Jesus as his Lord and Savior and is taking some classes to get baptized. Before that yesterday I was led as to who to ask for an offering which would cover the needed expenses for today, from transportation, to shared meals, to making more copies of the Good News of Jesus paper, to also give to the disciple who would be discipled in action, as the Holy Spirit led me to ask for him to come with me to learn how to move thru the Holy Spirit and also be anointed with the Holy Spirit at the end of the trip. We walked thru the market mostly, praying as the Holy Spirit led for people, giving them the Good News of Jesus, encouraging them to go into the Bible link as well as the Link for this page and anything else the Holy Spirit led to say or do. From getting there the Holy Spirit sent someone to put cartons on the floor for us to get off and on the car, people were very receptive to the messages given and also very thankful. I was able to get some eddible needed items for the week, as drinking water, milk, meat and other items for consumption as led by the Holy Spirit to order to receive them. After the neighborhood the Holy Spirit led me to stay at a local mall where HE has sent me before, getting some late lunch, being prayed for by two intercessors, which was an answer to prayer, as yesterday I had asked the Holy Spirit, which is also HIS desire to send me other parts of the body to pray with. The images seen here of the place where the message was taken are from the online page where the address for the Market was found, as I don’t go around taking pictures of people when sharing the Good News of Jesus unless led to for the sharing in this blog/podcast which HE led to create in the midst of the pandemic. It is very hot out here, but the Lord makes sure the proper clothe is had, lowers the sun when having to walk, sunblock lotion, sandals, covering it with some clouds at time and gives a breeze while doing the Great Commission. For those who are meant to understand to understand and receive forgiveness, healing, identity, restoration, eternal life, fruits, gifts to be part of the Great Commission. In Jesus name with the authority and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 10: 9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”[e] 12 Jew and Gentile[f] are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

17 And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
18 Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.
When coming back there was a young man who was the taxi driver, who asked if I had a sense of when the coming of Jesus was, which I was given Matthew 24, that tells us that the Lord is coming, but that HE wants us to live in a way that when HE comes, which not event the angels know when that is we can leave with HIM to the New Heaven and New Earth as described in Revelations 21. Take the time to re-read or read these two scriptures mentioned in this paragraph, asking the Lord to help understand what HE needs understood in Jesus name. I ended up exhausted, as a lot comes out of us, but the Holy Spirit refills and recharges after a nap, prayer and worship, with some food too and liquids. It is a humbling honor to have access to the Lord’s creation and see them the way the way HE sees, not as what people are going thru in that moment. The Holy Spirit also led to share half of the amount of the fruits brought from the market with one of the doorman in the building HE has me in and telling him Jesus loves him, he has received the Good News of Jesus paper and avocado when the Lord first brought me. The delivery young man was also given the Good News of Jesus paper, as a person coming down the elevator and the Good News of Jesus paper has been placed in the elevator as well. We must ask for the filling of the Holy Spirit so we can be full of the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit to be commissioned to do HIS will for the souls. All for the souls and the Great Commission.
Thankful for those who have been of monetary support to this Great Commission, to those who are praying for both my daughter and I whom I had not heard for a bit from, but trust that she is processing everything with the Lord as one of HIS children. Always praying that the Lord’s kingdom come and will is done as it is in heaven thru us and in us.
Please consider being part of this Great Commission with how ever much the Holy Spirit leads you, it will be a blessing to so many. I only ask because the Holy Spirit has asked me to ask. The Holy Spirit has me in the apartment here in the Dominican Republic that was paid till January 3, 2025 so the offerings will assist in all that is needed to continue the Great commission here and moving forward. To also get some needed items, for a place to live, transportation, food which is also being led to be given in some vulnerable areas where the Good News of Jesus will be given and other needed expenses for the Great Commission, as led by the Holy Spirit.
