Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading from Psalm 23.

October 26, 2024. Today sensed from the Holy Spirit to write an update from all that or some of the things that have been happening since being in the USA to coming to the Dominican Republic. It has been a while since I was led to write here in the blog, as so much has happened and I am praying for the Lord’s Grace and guidance in all. After coming back from the last country doing the mission in March of this year I spent some time in New York as heard. The Great Commission was done there, then I started hearing some states which were to cover some motels and areas in the south. The areas were covered, with me sleeping in some airports in the waiting areas in between states, sleeping in different places asking for offerings to cover the motels and expenses. I was exhausted even-though so much had happened ministry wise, and so many for the Lord’s Great Commission had gotten to know the Good News of Jesus, had been prayed for and had come to Jesus. Towards the end of those states in July, while waking up in one of the airports a man that had I met in the Dominican Republic that was not for me then or now contacted me thru email and in my tired mind and soul I contacted him back, then I asked my mom if she could get me a ticket to go to the Dominican Republic, as I also had not seen my mom in three years. In that airport in the south my mom sent me the ticket and the trip to the Dominican Republic was bought.

I was so looking forward to seeing the man and being in one place, while leaving the last state I kept hearing another state but in my tired mind and soul I kept going to the Dominican Republic. I arrived to the airport where the man would be coming to pick me up to take me to my mom’s house where my brother who depends completely on my mom who has a spirit of Jezebel, who is also opposed to the Good News of Jesus, to the point that when we have gone out and I have shared the Good News of Jesus out loud it offends it and tells me not to do that in public, which has served for us not to go out together. I also feel very drained around them and I shake when in the common areas, reminding me of: Matthew 10:³⁴ “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. ³⁵ For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. ³⁶ And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. Which also happened to the Lord when HE was here as a man, as his family and those around him did not know who HE was an gave him a hard time until HE died. Also those who do not have a relationship with Jesus are used by the darkness to attack those who are in a relationship with the Lord and doing the Great Commission.

When arriving in the midst of all that was happening; I heard the name of a company that handles customer service in English here in the Dominican Republic, to which I applied and heard the time frame to be there at the moment. The application was filled online one day and within a few days I was hired. I understood as I went for the physical interview why that company, as there are many spiritual situations happening within each person and it is a reflection also of the areas and populations the Lord has called me to. In the mean time transportation is needed each day to come and go from the company to the place I live, which also serves to share the Good News of Jesus, prayer or a word from the Holy Spirit to the taxi drivers, from a specific online application. On a Saturday about a month ago I sensed an urgency to go to a local mall and in that occasion it was to give the Good News of Jesus paper to the driver and he would share his testimony of accepting Jesus after being in the streets as a drug dealer and gang member and a woman pastor coming to minister to him and him accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior 11 years ago and her receiving him in her home after he came out of Jail. The next day him and his wife offered to come to the jail I had heard to go to, we went three times and after going to the river to releasing it all to the Lord. Then I heard to go to a street where there are many drug points and a lot going on and we went for about 4 Fridays. The last Friday we were going to the street to share the Good News of Jesus the man came alone and opened up about liking me and wanting to be with me as I met someone else and him staying with his wife, he also mentioned going to a motel, to which I told him that was adultery and sexual immorality and I started internally praying as we were in a car on the highway when he started talking about this. I asked that he bring me back to where I am staying and I sent him a message that I hoped the Lord dealt with him and his heart and blocked him. A man that worked in the group where we had been assigned to in the company where the Great Commission is being done started pursuing me and wanting to go out with me, which I heard distraction and I felt my left arm cold and drained around him. The area where we were placed is heavy and in the Spirit there is a sense of a lot going on. The pursuing of the man with the dark spirit went on till recently where he ended up quitting. The man that served as a connection to come is not the one for me and that was very evident when he picked me up as his conversations and actions were not of a Christian man. There is a lot of sexual immorality, gender confusion, addiction and other spiritual deep rooted situations in this city, which makes sense that the Lord would allow for one of his Apostles to be here. There are also many groups who call themselves Christians but are sects that are very radical, judgmental and not a reflection of Christ, which are used to discourage people from having a relationship with Christ. A lot is permitted here to cater also to the tourist that come here which also opens up to a lot of the Spiritual and deep rooted situations going on. But the Lord reminds that who ever is meant to understand will understand. Also there is constant reminder to protect the heart as we read in Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Which the enemy of our souls is constantly attacking, as if our heart hardens we don’t love people therefore we don’t share the Good News of Jesus. There will always be opposition, temptations, distractions where ever we are doing the Great Commission and people are coming out of the darkness into the light. Everything is spiritual, as we read in Ephesians 6:10-18 and John 10:10. Doing the Great Commission for the souls is not easy as we read all over the Bible, it was not easy for the Lord who came as man to die for us or any of the people that came before us, but with the Holy Spirit and it’s tools it can be done. The Lord finds ways to let us know we are not in the right situation or to encourage us. Only with the Holy Spirit the Great Commission can be done, as it says in Zechariah 4:6-9 New International Version (NIV)So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty. “What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground.

In the company some have come to Jesus as their Lord and Savior, from time to time the Holy Spirit has me share the Good News of Jesus or a comforting message in the common areas. The group where the Holy Spirit has me in we pray, they have received a lot of the Good News of Jesus and His messages. Food, and monetary resources have also been shared for people to get to know Jesus in palpable ways as well. There is a sense that I have money as some do not have spiritual discernment and or spiritual understanding. It’s all about the Great Commission, as read and seen in Matthew 28:16-20. Also There is also a lot of rejection to the Lord and unbelief, because of what each person has gone thru with others who may have said they are Christians, but one by one who is ever is meant to understand will understand and has understood, with the help of the Holy Spirit and all of the fruits of the Spirit as we read in Galatians 5. I am praying for the Lord to clarify everything to me, as I want to be and do as HE needs me to do and say. I have heard different things about being in the Dominican Republic and the company HE has allowed and has been moving in, where also the Good News of Jesus paper is given on a daily basis. I am praying to be and do as the Holy Spirit needs me to do and if it’s his will for me to move to another place within this city as the Lord’s desires or in HIS will. At times I hear we have to go, to which I am praying to please tell me clearly when and how. I have also heard favor in the company and other things, only the Lord knows. In the meantime the Great Commission continues and will keep being done in Jesus name. I have not given an update in a while because so much happens in one day, but the Lord never leaves us or forsakes us. There is a church that I sense to go to weekly and the Lord uses some of the ladies at work who clean to pray with and for me when a word is needed. Also sometimes even the taxi drivers are used to give me a word of correction and or encouragement. This scripture has also served as a reminder lately after going thru the distractions and temptations that the darkness has presented lately: Joshua 1:⁹ Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Thankful for those who are praying and continue to pray for me and my daughter and for those who have and share monetary support for this Great Commission.

Jesus wants you to know that HE LOVES YOU. He wants a relationship with you. Our sins separate us from God when we break his commandments. But if we repent and accept Jesus as our God and Savior, there is forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, and much more. Talk to Him.🙏He wants to hear from you. 🖤 We are born to be loved by the Lord, to worship HIM, and to obey HIM through HIS Great Commission.
