Reading for today Acts 1.
July 13, 2024. Today after having a better night of sleep than the one of the night before, woke up, read the Bible as heard to start re-reading the Book of Acts, which was the second book the Holy Spirit asked me to read, after the Book of Revelations when HE called me. Prayed and started hearing the name of a fast food restaurant in the area, started getting ready, putting on the full armor as we read in Ephesians 6:10-19, covering with the blood of Jesus, praying for my daughter who I have not heard from for about two weeks now, crying out to the Lord for her. Then checked the bank account and three people had been led to give, one $100, another $35 and another $70, which served to pay go online and as heard to extend the room till the 14, which the total was $142 for 2 more nights. Started walking and a sister in Christ sent me that she was going to send thru western union and the place was about two minutes away. I got to the receiving place and gave the Good News of Jesus paper as people came in and to some of the workers, I asked for the receiving station and someone came, I also asked as they turned on the computer if they made copies and they said no, only printing of pictures. I waited and the sister was led to send $81 dollars. There was someone that was led to give $70 in the gofundme, but it takes 2-5 business days to clarify. I was led to get some needed items such as water and snacks to have. While walking to get the items I gave the Good News of Jesus paper to a man and right away he started sharing how him and other people have a prayer line, where they intercede for different things during the week. I felt the Holy Spirit as he spoke and he asked if I was staying far that he could take me, I was led to tell him of the need to make copies of the message, he said pay for what you are getting and I will take you. I was reminded how in each state the Lord has provided someone to take me to make the copies and or get needed items. The immense love of the Lord that places us where HE needs HIS creation to know how loved and seen they are by HIM.
Before taking me to make the copies, which turned out to be in Mississippi, he was led to show me the old home of Elvis Presley, and his airplane, it was interesting to me to see, as I had watched his documentaries and being there was interesting, as he also suffered from insomnia and other things, started as a gospel singer and then went another way, he didn’t seem to have peace, as he did not have Jesus or was not using the gifts he had been given for the kingdom. Many people worshiped and idolized him, which also came at a price, showing that only thru giving out lives to Jesus can we get healing, restoration, purpose, forgiveness, identity, eternal life, peace, joy and much more. It goes to show that money and fame do not equal peace and eternal life. Then he asked me to put the directions to the copy place and on the way we shared testimonies and he was so encouraged to meet someone living by faith, as he said it pleased the Lord. We arrived to the copy place which was in the next state where another person had taken me to eat after making copies.
The Good News of Jesus paper was given in the store and the man who was of a dark skin complexion thought it was amazing how the Holy Spirit had sent a white looking woman to bring the Good News of Jesus in segregated areas, where there has been a long history of black and whites being divided and being persecuted because of the color of their skin, which we agreed that was demonic, as division is not of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit. He also took me to the fast food restaurant I had heard to go to from the day before in the area where the Holy Spirit has me, filling the area with the Holy Spirit and HIS Good News of Jesus. It was so so hot and the Lord knew and sent someone. Jesus/ Holy Spirit. The copies were made and I was led to ask if we could walk over to a nearby store to get a dress to wear so I could do laundry, we walked and in the store the Good news of Jesus was given out loud and the paper, with being led to hug the cashier with whom I felt like crying as I sensed the sadness in her. The brother was led to pay for the t-shirt dress, which was on sale for $15 dollars as well as some t-shirts he was getting for himself. That was a blessing from the Lord. The brother was very respectful and called me sister the whole time. He was then led to take me to a nearby pizza place, where the Lord had led me to sit in for most of the afternoon the day before and I was led to get lunch and dinner for today, which ended up being dinner and lunch and dinner for the next day. The meals were about $36 using the $ the sister was led to send thru Western Union, at that point had $22 left in the account and $46 in cash.
I was led to pray as the brother in Christ dropped me off and he left. By that point it was close to 4:30pm and I was so hungry and tired spiritually, I felt drained so I changed and eat, I still felt drained so I put some worship as I laid down, feeling the spiritual shift that was happening in the area and in each place where the Holy Spirit had let to go to to share the Good News of Jesus. I cried and cried as the Lord has a way of pursuing those HE loves and HE loves his creation so much. The motel where HE has had me these past few days needs a deep cleaning and filling of the Holy Spirit, there are renovations that started happening in some of the rooms, as I see construction crews coming in, but it is evident that a lot has happened in this place, which is my understanding that it is why the Holy Spirit would send someone here. I am always praying that HIS kingdom comes and HIS will is done in Jesus name. In the afternoon I was led to join a missions conference in zoom which was encouraging to see and hear church leaders who were encouraging the body to get out of the four walls, which reminded me of Romans 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?[a] And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” It is all thru the Holy Spirit that the Great Commission can be done as we read in Acts 2, which the last days are from when the Lord resurrected till HE comes back: 16 But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: 17 “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; 18 even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. 19 And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; 20 the sun shall be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day. 21 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
I have to pay the phone bill and where ever HE will have me next or to extend the room, praying that it is him moving the people HE will move for the phone bill due on Monday and for the needed things moving forward. Thankful for those who have been led to pray for both my daughter and I, for those who have been and will be of monetary support all for the Great Commission. The sending apps and information is always under the last picture, please prayerfully consider sending an offering for the different needs, it will be a blessing to many.
