Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading for today: 2 Samuel 20 and Psalms 91.

July 8, 2024. WOW today woke up with a deep deep sadness, prayed, read the Bible, a sister in Christ was led to call which was an answer to prayer and as we prayed I just cried and cried a deep deep cry and it was all for the love the Lord has for the people and places where HE places us. There was a lot of rain falling before going out to the area where HE was sending me. The deep rooted pain and suffering in this area is palpable and the prayers of the people are being answered. Many “churches” have compromised the Gospel, are more concerned about building members than the Great Commission, but the Lord cares more about HIS creation than anyone and will make sure to send people so that those who are meant to understand understand. After the prayer finished getting ready and headed to the fast food restaurant the Holy Spirit has been leading me to go to, but first giving the Good News of Jesus to the people in the motel as they walked by. Then making sure the extension that was led to be done yesterday till the 10th had been taken care of in the office. When arriving to the fast food restaurant, after putting on the full armor of God and being covered by the blood of Jesus as well as praying for my daughter. I was led to ask two sisters and a brother for an offering for today’s food and to get some needed items such as water, personal items that had broken and needed replacement and food to heat up in the microwave in the motel. There were people sitting at the tables that I was led to give the Good News of Jesus as they came in as well to get food. There was a woman with a little girls who seemed homeless, who the mom after I gave her the Good News of Jesus paper asked if I could get her something to eat for the two of them, to which I was led to ask a man that was with his other two coworkers to see if they can get her something to eat, they gathered some money and gave it to her, the mom and the daughter were able to eat. She came over to say thank you, to also say she could not see well, we prayed for her healing and the man came over to talk to me about the message and I was led to pray in a circle with the two of them, then the offering of the two sisters came in, who sent $25 each. Before I left and the mom and daughter left the mom handed me $4 dollars and she said it was to support the call. Jesus/ Holy Spirit. I was led to stay a bit longer in the fast food restaurant, eat, then go to the laundry to wash the clothe I needed to wash.

In the Laundromat I was led to give the Good news of Jesus paper as I walked around the place, then I was led to ask an individual if it would be possible to take me to make copies of the Good News of Jesus paper and the person said yes. After the laundry was done I was taken to make 30 copies of the Good News of Jesus paper with the offerings sent where the other day the day after arriving to Memphis, Tennessee; I was led to ask a lady if she would take me to make copies and she took me to a copy place about 2 miles away, when I was giving them the Good News of Jesus paper in the copy place to the workers; the young lady said that they have them on the registers. After making the copies the person mentions that was going to eat in a buffet in Mississippi and I was led to come too, as it was also an answer to prayer to have a full meal, as I have been eating curly fries and nuggets these days here in the fast food place, which I am not complaining as the purpose of the Lord for the Great Commission needs to happen there. It was not just about me to eat as always, it was also for the workers who received the Good News of Jesus and the waiter received prayer as the Holy Spirit led. Then the I had $33 dollars left and I was led to ask the person if we could go to the target next to the restaurant and the person said yes. I was able to get a gallon of water, juice, 2 microwavable meals, needed underwear, wipes and a cold coffee drink. In the store the Good News of Jesus was given and the person took me back to Memphis, saying goodbye in the parking lot. The person was led to read Psalm 91 as they got back home and kept listening to Klove radio station, which I was led to put in the vehicle.

When arriving to the motel there was a family in a car with a young man that had been prayed for and given the Good News of Jesus and they received the paper, as well as the motel attendant, who was also led to go into this link, as well as download the Bible app. Thanking the Lord for HIS guidance, provision, protection and chain breaking that HE is doing and will continue to do thru HIS Holy Spirit where ever placed. Thankful for those who are praying for both my daughter and I. Thankful also for those who have been of monetary contribution and those who will be of monetary contribution moving forward, all for the Great Commission, and for the Lord’s kingdom to come and will be done in Jesus name.
