Reading for today 2 Samuel 18.
July 6, 2024. This morning woke up after waking up on and off with a lot of pain in the middle of my body and feeling really heavy. Prayed while sitting, read the Bible, surrendered the day to the Lord thanking HIM for dying on the cross for us, prayed for my daughter who I have not heard from some days now, cried out to the Lord for HIS kingdom to come and will to be done, asked a sister for an offering to get some food, make copies and get some needed items such as water and snacks to have in the room, she sent exactly what was needed. The management of the motel came over to see about the air conditioner and moved me to another room closer to the stairs and elevator, which I sensed was for a higher purpose. The room’s toilet and sink needed to be cleaned to which I told the manager I would do it, gave him the Good News of Jesus paper, then he left after the room change happened. I got ready and started heading out going to the surrounding business giving the Good News of Jesus paper person by person and answering questions as they asked. There are some homeless people walking and hanging out in the area. The Holy Spirit is so specific as I heard downtown and in downtown I am. People who were meant to receive would say how they needed the message, with a young lady confessing and desiring to have a stronger relationship with the Lord. Only the Holy Spirit knows why HE sends us to the specific areas HE does.
Then I was led to go into a Laundromat giving out the message of the Good News of Jesus person by person there including the young woman attending the place. There was a woman reading a book about the Bible and she asked me a question about Africa, to which I was led to tell her that when she is not sure of something she has access to the Holy Spirit, who tells us in the Bible that when we need wisdom we can ask HIM. In many places they make people so dependent of other people that there needs to be a conversation about Ephesians 4: 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds[a] and teachers,[b] 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood,[c] to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. This is why the Lord raises people to teach the body so they too can have access to the Holy Spirit. I was led to ask the woman if she could take me to a nearby copy center to make more copies of the Good News of Jesus paper which I had the bit that was left, she agreed and took me to the copy center, I was reminded where in the last town the Lord provided a man to take me to make more copies of the Good News of Jesus paper. The woman dropped me off at the parking lot of the nearby pharmacy, across from the motel, where the Good News of Jesus paper was given person by person, including some of the homeless individuals outside of the pharmacy. I was led to then go to a nearby fast food restaurant get some food and cut up more of the Good News of Jesus paper, with a man asking how the message came about and that it was very impactful and good, I was led to show him the original one and explain the Holy Spirit had me make it with a brother adding more words. The workers also received the Good News of Jesus paper. Then I felt a heaviness and crying and crying, to which I prayed, went back to the motel, prayed more for the area, as I understood the heaviness was coming from the area, as there are many people with different sufferings and needs and the word teaches us that we will feel what the Lord feels for where HE places us. My body started to be in pain again, to which I prayed, put on the sleeping gown, laid on the bed and cried out to the Lord to calm the pain, as it was a deep heavy pain. Drank some cranberry juice, water and ate a snack.
After feeling better was hearing music nearby and heard from the Holy Spirit to go see where the music was coming from and it was a man with a speaker playing music and smoking. I had been led to give him the Good News of Jesus paper earlier, he hid the smoking devise, put the music down and I was led to ask him if I could pray for him in Jesus name, the Holy Spirit gave encouraging words and words that were between him and the Lord, the man as I prayed and touched his shoulders cried and cried, disconnected the speaker and started heading upstairs, I don’t know what he heard from the Holy Spirit in the prayer but he felt the presence and love of the Holy Spirit, and was encouraged. Then I was led to go to the rest of the floors going up to the second and third floor with a young woman being in a wheel chair on the second floor and being thankful for the Good News of Jesus paper. The God who sees and is so specific and pursues HIS creation, it is amazing. It never stops surprising and being so encouraging to be part of the Great Commission as hard as it could be at times, specially when there is going to be a change, but the Lord reminds that if someone understands is HIM. Thanking the Lord for HIS love and faithfulness for HIS creation who receive healing, restoration, encouragement, forgiveness, eternal life, gifts, fruits and so much more to become the light in the midst of the darkness, to be redeemed to redeem in Jesus name. It is such a humbling honor to have access to the Lord’s creation. Thankful for those who are praying for both my daughter and I, for those who are and have been of monetary support for the Lord’s Kingdom to keep coming and HIS will being done in Jesus name. All for the souls. Nothing is personal it is all spiritual. The room is paid till tomorrow night, praying and waiting on what the Holy Spirit will have me do moving forward and how the provision will come in Jesus name.
