Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading for today: 2 Samuel 16.

July 3, 2024. Today after hearing yesterday that the Holy Spirit needed me in a specific motel in another area of Montgomery, Alabama, after two brother sending an offering, the motel that I heard in the Holy Spirt was set till the 5th of July. Listened to the Bible, prayed, got on my knees, surrendered everything to HIM, put on the full armor and being covered, praying also for my daughter and crying out to the Lord for her. Started getting ready and did the study of the book of Matthew, which the link is at the bottom of this post. I cried and cried then did the check out, as sensing what was done in the motel looking hotel the Lord had me the last 3 days. Then did the check out, the owners looked disappointed that I was leaving as he did not accept the Good News of Jesus but then he saw how the Holy Spirit had me giving the Good News of Jesus paper, even to some groups that seemed like they were going to start a party in the room and how people would be thankful and the parties would not happen. The owner asked if I was staying but I told him I had to go. I then was led to go across the street to a restaurant, where there was a man who asked who I was and I shared the testimony of faith and he was so encouraged, he asked me questions, gave me his number and a man that was there who saw me praying for the man started sharing his walk of faith. I had to go as the taxi had come, got to eat. The taxi driver as well as the workers in the restaurant received the Good News of Jesus paper and the taxi driver was so encouraged and shared how there is a big homeless population in the area the Lord was leading me to go, that she used to be the manager for some of the apartment in the area and they had to border the homes so the homeless individuals would not house in there. I sensed that that is why the Holy Spirit was placing me there, after hearing yesterday that HE needed me there. The moment I was dropped off a man without a shirt was walking towards the entrance of the motel and the Good News of Jesus was given to him, he spoke in a language as if he was speaking in tongues. Many places make people think that if they do not speak in tongues they are not baptized with the Holy Spirit which is not true, as speaking in tongues is a gift like any other gift that the Lord wants to give us for what ever HE will have us do, but Paul in the Holy Spirit explains it clearly in 1 Corinthians 14(Read the scripture in the link and see what it says about speaking in tongues): https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians%2014&version=NIV Also some of the “leaders” take Acts 2 as an example of how the disciples spoke in tongues after receiving the Holy Spirit, but they spoke in languages that every person where they were could understand, read Acts 2 in the link, and see what the Holy Spirit tells you: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Acts+2&version=NIV

Then the Holy Spirit had me take a nap and ask a few people to please pray for the provision for the next state the Lord is telling me to go to, I asked a young sister but it was not to ask her that the Holy Spirit brought her to mind was to reach out to her, which I later clarified. Then a young sister who said the Holy Spirit told her to give me the tithings as she got paid, was paid early than what she thought, and sent me $200 dollars thru apple pay which served to get the bus ticket to the next state for the 5th of this month, which the State is about 13 hours away by two buses. Now the Holy Spirit will move someone or some people for the provision of where to stay in the next state, as HE leads of where to stay and for how long in that state. The Lord is so specific, as after the short nap I was led to go to the restaurant across the street, a big big street and it was because the restaurant was going to be full and HE was going to have me share the Good News of Jesus out loud in the three areas of the restaurant, with after me sharing the words people would clap and be thankful, one young man said God loves you, which made me cry as if the Lord was saying it thru him. I had a nice meal, one of the most complete meals I have had since New York, as in each place I get to eat what can be afforded with the provisions and or as the Lord leads, but this was a buffet, which I had not been in for a while. I cried as I ate thinking of how many people did not have that meal at that moment and there was so much food there and being thankful to the Lord for the way HE also pursues HIS creation, as there were so many people in the big restaurant. Some of the workers also approached me to ask me questions. Earlier as I was led to do the laundry, sharing the Good News of Jesus and also praying and receiving hugs as people felt so encouraged by the Holy Spirit, with one woman saying she loved me which I understand is the Holy Spirit’s gift of love she is feeling. Then a young man was prayed for healing in his hand, he confessed that he was frustrated and that he wanted to get closer to God again, so we prayed for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Another man received the Good News of Jesus paper and prayed, he felt encouraged and refilled and offered to take me anywhere I needed to go and I needed to make more copies of the Good News of Jesus paper and as the clothe were drying he took me to the copy center nearby, he shared his life with his wife and stated that it was the least he could do for the Lord as HE sent me to encourage him.

After the restaurant I heard to go to the two nearby gas stations where a lot of the homeless individuals would be coming in an out and a lot of young people would too. The Good News of Jesus paper was given in each of the gas stations and I was able to also get some water and snacks, which is always a blessing as not all places have water in their bending machines. The Lord is so specific, so so specific with where HE sends and leads for the Great Commission. People here have been very receptive except for one young lady at the motel who after seeing the paper started walking away saying things about Christianity, as it has possibly been with a person who misrepresented Christianity or a spirit of darkness that was blocking her hearing and understanding, as it happens sometimes thru the things that are seen and heard, that are used by the darkness to make people question God. Until that person gets to experiences the Love of the living God, the same thing happened in a very spiritually heavy motel I was placed in Washington. Matthew 13 also explains the different soils or people we will encounter, also Ephesians 6:10-18 and it all helps us understand that when people reject it is not us that they are rejecting but the Lord. Luke 10: ¹⁶ “Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.” At the end of the day I end up exhausted, as the Lord reminds us that a lot comes out of the Holy Spirit in us as the Great Commission is done, as healing, restoration, encouragement, forgiveness, identity, eternal life, fruits, gifts and so much more is brought thru people receiving Jesus and the name of Jesus being proclaimed in the different areas, so rest is given as led and provided by the Holy Spirit to refresh and restore to continue the Great Commission. The are seasons that are more busy than others but the Holy Spirit gives us understanding of the importance of obedience. Thankful for those who are praying for both my daughter and I and have been of monetary support to this Great Commission that continues for the Lord’s kingdom to come and will be done in Jesus name.

Jesus wants you to know that HE LOVES YOU. He wants a relationship with you. Our sins separate us from God when we break his commandments. But if we repent and accept Jesus as our God and Savior, there is forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, and much more.
