Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading for today: 2 Samuel 15.

July 1, 2024. Today after spending a night and most of the day in the Birmingham, Alabama airport sharing the Good News of Jesus and a young sister in Christ around 5pm being led to send for one night in a nearby hotel to be able to shower and sleep. Arriving to the hotel the message was given to the receptionist who mentioned that she needed the message and to a man who had bites all over his body and had a beaten up eye, as if he had been in a fight. Then I heard with being in the airport the night and most of the day was that the people that received the Good News of Jesus in the airport would take it to their communities.

This morning after listening to the word in the Bible, praying, asking for directions, got ready and asked a few brothers and sisters as led to please help with the ticket and getting to the bus station. One sister answered and the ticket to the bus was bought. When the check out was done I was led to ask the receptionist if she could make some copies of the Good News of Jesus paper and she made 10 copies. Then the taxi arrived and I was led to give the Good News of Jesus paper to three driver who stayed he used to be an evangelist who was coming back, he asked for my number to connect me with a sister in Christ in Montgomery, Alabama where the Lord sent me next. I was led to pray for him and got off the car.

In the bus I was led to give the Good News of Jesus paper to the young man cleaning the bus and the driver. The driver asked if I had the original to make copies of the message and ran off the bus went to the office and make copies for himself and me. Then when he came back to the bus we spoke and spoke for the next two stops, I was led to pray for him and when we arrived to the final stop he asked if I would stay behind, closed the door prayed for me, gave me some words from the Lord and handed me $100 dollars. He then opened the door and I cried and cried feeling the Lord’s presence.

In the bus station there is a big homeless population that comes in and out of the bus station who received the good news of Jesus, prayers and did the prayer of salvation. It is now 8:15pm. There is a hotel across from the station. With the $100 that the Lord was led for the bus driver to give a place to stay for the night was gotten for $75 for the night in cash, where the taxi driver told me there was a big homeless population in the area. Then around 10 PM after praying to be able to extend the room so the area can be covered with me bringing the Good News of Jesus without the suitcase and after praying heard who to ask and a young sister was led to send to extend the room for one more night. Thanking the Lord for those who are praying for both my daughter and I and have been of a monetary support for this Great commission.
