Reading for today 1 Samuel 17

June 5, 2024. Today woke up with a tight tight stomach, heard so many things, and threw up, then read the devotional that was in the place where the Lord last had me with the Great Commission, then read 1 Samuel 17 about David and Goliath, how the Lord choose those who will give him the Glory, not foe knowledge and wisdom, like we read in 1 Corinthians 1: ²⁶ Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. ²⁷ But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. ²⁸ God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, ²⁹ so that no one may boast before him. ³⁰ It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. ³¹ Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”^[a] The Lord speaks so powerfully in so many ways as HE is a spirit but knows how we understand and the Bible is such a power book that needs to be read in what ever translation or version HE leads to read. At the end of each blog I am encouraged to leave the free Bible app, that can be downloaded and also other free resources to encourage and teach in the walk of faith. Any time there is going to be a shift for the Great Commission the enemy attacks the mind and body, but then when we hit the ground it all makes sense. The Holy Spirit also never lets us be destroyed or never leaves us alone. I was led to leave everything clean and washed, in the last place, as the Holy Spirit leads us reminding us to do everything with excellence as it is to the Lord we are doing it for, who is also the one we will answer to and sees us. Colossians 3:²³ Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, ²⁴ since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. After packing and eating something I was led to put on the full armor, cover with the blood of Jesus for both my daughter and I, I heard to get a taxi from an online app, where the driver was from Ukraine, he had many questions about Christianity and other believes, the questions were answered and he kept the new card with the Good News of Jesus, with the QR code for the Bible and this page of teachings and testimonies. I was dropped off at the next place I had been hearing to be for sometime now, but yesterday was the day where the provision came from a sister in Christ that I was led to ask and everything happens in the Holy Spirit’s perfect time and ways.

As soon as the person dropped me off I was checked in to the room, speaking to the young lady that works at the front desk with whom I had spoken over the phone, shared the testimony of faith with her and she remembered me, we hugged and another young lady who was walking in started talking to me and the Holy Spirit started speaking thru both of us, as she also needed to understand somethings and we spoke for sometime before me meeting with the staff, the young sister and I were led to pray and after the meeting with the place’s staff the young sister was led to tell me that a few of the people in the group and she were going to have food which was such a blessing to meet other brothers and sisters and one was led to pay for a soup that I was led to get which also helped with the stomach situation. At the end of the time the Good News card was given to the waiter and I was led to pray with the group and anoint them with the Holy Spirit. Then the young sister and I stayed behind and spoke as the Holy Spirit led. The place that the Holy Spirit led to be in as of today is an urban ministry school in Queens, NY, where people from different places come to learn how to share the Good News of Jesus with the most vulnerable and how to bring what they learn into their churches or communities. Then I was led to get refreshed and I was going to do that, as the place is set up like a dorm where there are bunk beds, with a bathroom with a toilet in the room, and the showers are shared in the hallway. When going in the shower, as there are two showers in one space, a young lady who came with a group from her church and I started talking and sharing testimonies of the Lord’s goodness, then she was led to give me something for my stomach and I was led to have them pray for me, which the leader testified how thankful she was for me to ask as it is hard for some to ask for help as they feel they have to figure everything out, which more and more the Holy Spirit lets me understand the ASKING, the Lord and HIS ways. Proverbs 27:¹⁷ As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. The Holy Spirit knows how long HE has me here for, and as always praying that the Lord’s kingdom come and will is done in Jesus name. Thanking the Lord for those who are praying for both my daughter and I, and for those who have also been of monetary support for the Great Commission.

Jesus wants you to know that HE LOVES YOU. He wants a relationship with you. Our sins separate us from God when we break his commandments. But if we repent and accept Jesus as our God and Savior, there is forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, and much more. Talk to Him.🙏He wants to hear from you. 🖤 We are born to be loved by the Lord, to worship HIM, and to obey HIM through HIS Great Commission.
