Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading for today: 1 Samuel 14

May 31, 2024. After waking up this morning, which was so much less heavy than it has been before, reading the Bible in 1 Samuel 14, praying, surrendering the day to the Lord, asking HIM to fill me up with all the fruits of the Holy Spirit, where in Galatians 5 we read the fruits of someone without the Holy Spirit, who has not repented and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior; which are the fruits of the flesh and then someone who has gone thru the re-birth, who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, as we read in John 3, who has surrendered and keeps surrendering everyday, reading the Bible and spending time with the Holy Spirit in them, to receive the fruits of the Holy Spirit, that can not be earned or learned, but can only be received by the baptism of the Holy Spirit as we read in Galatians 5: ¹⁹ The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; ²⁰ idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions ²¹ and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. ²⁴ Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. ²⁵ Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. ²⁶ Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

After doing that started getting ready as I heard to go for a walk to bring the Good News of Jesus on the way to people one by one and in groups, and also to walk to a park that the Holy Spirit asked me to walk to at a point in the midst of doing the Great Commission in Yonkers, NY. around 2017 when someone wanted to put me in a chaplain class to have access to the jails, hospitals and other places, but when I prayed about it I heard from the Holy Spirit to go to this park and in the second round of walking I heard: I will open the doors where you need to be with my Holy Spirit and you will be what I need you to be. I cried and cried when I heard this, and by then the Holy Spirit had had me with the homeless, gang members, drug dealers, and much more in the library connecting them with the resources needed and sharing the Good News of Jesus with them, giving them Bibles and gathering in an organization who’s director at that time called me to tell me that the Lord had told him to give me space to gather the people with a pool where they also could be baptized and one of the representatives of the Library invited me to the Jail’s in Valhalla, NY reentry panel and it was a Monday and by Friday with the Lord’s leading I was part of the re-entry panel. I cried and cried the day I was invited, as I was reminded of what the Holy Spirit had told me before. Month by month the re-entry panel went on until the pandemic, where the access to the jails stopped, but for almost 3 years the men who were coming out into society got to hear the Good News of Jesus, receiving HIS love and Hope as they were in the process of coming out to where ever the Lord would place them next as they accepted Jesus and surrendered to HIM. We have a limitless God, the creator, the one who sees, the one who loves and is constantly pursuing HIS creation. Lately the Holy Spirit has been taking me to the beginning after bringing me back to New York. It has been heavy and the Holy Spirit knows where HE has also placed me after coming back to establish, expose, disciple and much more that is done with the direction and authority of the Holy Spirit. It is a humbling honor to have access to the Lord’s creation, it is not easy but if anyone understands that is the Lord who came as full human to go thru everything we would go thru and more and we can relate to HIM and HE can relate to us. The Holy Spirit also reminds us in Nehemiah 8:10 that the joy of the Lord is our strength.

On the way back I was led to call brothers and sisters in the faith to see how they were doing and to encourage and or give a word from the Holy Spirit as we learn in Hebrews 3:  ¹³ But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We all need encouragement and a word from the Holy Spirit thru one another, that is why the Lord tells us in HIS word not to stop the coming together, which is not just with anyone, but as the Lord leads, with the guidance and prompting of the Holy Spirit. Hebrews 10:²⁵ not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Everything is in the Bible and it is so important, like our lives depend on it to read the Bible everyday and be in the presence of the Lord, in Jesus name. In the daily surrender is that we get the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit to do the Great Commission with HIS guidance and authority. Zechariah 4:⁶ Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. And: Proverbs 3:⁵ Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge him,
    and he will make straight your paths. We also need to remember that the Lord corrects those HE loves as we read in the Bible. Hebrews 12 AMP: For the Lord disciplines and corrects those whom He loves, And He punishes every son whom He receives and welcomes [to His heart].” ⁷ You must submit to [correction for the purpose of] discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons; for ^[d]what son is there whom his father does not discipline? ⁸ Now if you are exempt from correction and without discipline, in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate children and not sons [at all]. ⁹ Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we submitted and respected them [for training us]; shall we not much more willingly submit to the Father of ^[e]spirits, and live [by learning from His discipline]? ¹⁰ For our earthly fathers disciplined us for only a short time as seemed best to them; but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. ¹¹ For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems sad and painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness [right standing with God and a lifestyle and attitude that seeks conformity to God’s will and purpose]. ¹² So then, strengthen hands that are weak and knees that tremble. ¹³ Cut through and make smooth, straight paths for your feet [that are safe and go in the right direction], so that the leg which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather may be healed. ¹⁴ Continually pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will [ever] see the Lord. ¹⁵ See to it that no one falls short of God’s grace; that no root of resentment springs up and causes trouble, and by it many be defiled; ¹⁶ and [see to it] that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. ¹⁷ For you know that later on, when he wanted [to regain title to] his inheritance of the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no opportunity for repentance [there was no way to repair what he had done, no chance to recall the choice he had made], even though he sought for it with [bitter] tears. Thanking the Lord for the people who are being led to pray for both my daughter and I and for those who are also led to be of monetary support or how ever the Lord’s leads for this Great Commission, as the Lord’s kingdom comes and will is done, in Jesus name.

Jesus wants you to know that HE LOVES YOU. He wants a relationship with you. Our sins separate us from God when we break his commandments. But if we repent and accept Jesus as our God and Savior, there is forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, and much more. Talk to Him.🙏He wants to hear from you. 🖤 We are born to be loved by the Lord, to worship HIM, and to obey HIM through HIS Great Commission.
