Reading for today Ruth 4.
May 16, 2024. After having a hard time waking up, as it has happened since arriving to the area where the Lord has me, which happens depending on the principalities that are trying to take over the area, as we read in the Book of Enoch, which has happened before depending on the territory and as a sister from Trinidad and Tobago has been led to remind that where a Holy Spirit person arrives the principalities manifest even more, they manifest to fight back, to exhaust, to intimidate, but the Holy Spirit with HIS word in the Bible and HIS Holy Spirit gives us the tools to fight the good fight, as well as other brothers and sisters to intercede in prayer with one another. In the midst of the heaviness, prayed, played the reading from Ruth 4, got on my knees, put on the full armor as we read in Ephesians 6:10-18 and left to the Hotel now shelter in the downtown area of New York City, where I have been hearing from the Holy Spirit to go to since yesterday. Took a bus, then the train to get there, feeling blurry eyed from the spiritual heaviness and sensing the spiritual fight from stepping out of the house to getting to the place and in the place. For a year now they went from being a hotel before the pandemic to now housing immigrants from different parts of the world, as New York is a sanctuary city, which is an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to encounter the individuals in the midst of what is happening to them, which is what happened today, and I am sure the Lord has sent other parts of the body there too. In getting to the area groups are seen outside the Hotel, sitting and standing, they have made a community outside and inside of the Hotel, which is something we are prune to doing, as we were created by a God that is a relationship, as HE is three in one; Father, son and Holy Spirit, which has always been the Holy Spirit, so we hunger and need others. Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
It is such a humbling honor to have access to the Lord’s creation in such a loving and Godly way. There was a young man reading the Bible in the train to the shelter and that was very encouraging to see, in the midst of all the Lord knows how to encourage us and keep us going. There is no stopping the Holy Spirit, those who are meant to understand we just have to be and do what we have been brought up to do as exiles, here for a time as we read in Hebrews 11:13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.And remembering: Psalm 46: 10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” 11 The Lord Almighty is with us; he God of Jacob is our fortress.
There is a big move of people coming in and out of the hotel now shelter for now a year, from the staff who from working in a very “expensive hotel” are now taking care of the creation of God outside and making sure things run calmly, as people come in and out and in different times more groups were arriving. The third through 18th floors contains 1,025 rooms. The hotel building is 19 stories high, originally opened on September 22, 1924. One of the staff at the door, whom the Holy Spirit also led to share the Good News of Jesus with the staff outside as well, was led to tell me that not only hispanic immigrant come which I also saw African, Asian, which was a reminder of what the Holy Spirit teaches us in: Leviticus 19:33 “‘When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. 34 The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God. The Holy Spirit led me to share the Good News of Jesus paper, a well as praying out loud with the groups that were gathered outside, then there was a young man who is there with his mom and brother who was going to play music in a speaker than hung around his neck and I was led by the Holy Spirit to ask the young man to put some Christian music as the Holy Spirit has led before, being in the area from 1PM to around 3PM saturating it with the Holy Spirit to also sharing meals with the provision left in the account. Many were seen and heard, as the Holy Spirit teaches us. A lot is done in the time the Holy Spirit puts us as Holy people to make the land HE has us take authority of for the Great Commission, for more people to have hope, faith, healing, forgiveness, restoration, purpose, eternal life, fruits, gifts and so much more, only thru Jesus can all of that happen. There is hope in Jesus/Holy Spirit. That is why the Holy Spirit raises people to be loved by HIM, love HIM and answer the Great Commission: Matthew 28: The Great Commission 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
When getting off the train and getting some needed items as provided thru a young brother in the house; I was left with around $5 dollars and got a slice for pizza with what was left, then I was asking the Lord for some money to get fruits, yogurt, bread, cheese, turkey ham, nuts and to be able to make copies and a sister was led to send an offering and I was right outside the supermarket and across from a copy place, where the items were able to be bought and the copy of the Good News of Jesus papers were made. I was so attacked and heavy from the shelter to the bus and more were manifesting in the bus, to which I was led to take a shower, letting go of all that had been delivered and done these days and being led to pray with one of the young brothers who is also running the discipleship house where the Holy Spirit has me, as the young brother has been feeling the same, specifically lately. The Lord intercedes thru each of us and asks that we encourage one another in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 of the Bible says, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing”. Was also led for us to pray for the other parts of the body; who may have been heavily attacked and under attack ,as in many occasions happens at the same time. Thanking the Lord for the body of Christ as we learn in 1 Corinthians 12: Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2 You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. 3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. 4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. 12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body.21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues[d]? Do all interpret? 31 Now eagerly desire the greater gifts.
