Reading for today Ruth 2.

May 13, 2024. Today woke up, started packing and getting everything ready, as I had been told by the sister who opened the space for me to be in it would be till today, so the place was cleaned and prepared for my leaving, but God. Then listened to the word in Ruth 2, prayed and started getting ready leave, when on my knees I heard to call a woman that I had been connected to by the Holy Spirit on Saturday after making the copies of the Good News of Jesus paper, where she was discipling a group of young people in a church that as I was walked by to go to the shelter they were there and I was led to go in and pray with them, share the testimony of faith and pray with them, give words as the Holy Spirit led and the woman praying for me. I called her, she was very challenged by the fact that I did not have a plan B to move forward if I was told that today would be the last day, to which with a lot of love and patience the Holy Spirit had me explain that since the Lord called me I have to be and do things as the Holy Spirit leads not how I want to do them or for them to be done. I was led to pray and then she offered to come and bring dinner, and keep me in prayers, as before they would help people but have had very bad experiences so they stopped helping people. We spoke on her lunch break around 12Noon. I was led to tell her to do as the Holy Spirit leads her to do, which is always what I am led to tell people who say they are Christians. That answer challenges, convicts, connects more or agrees with the person hearing that. Psalm 23 comes to mind: The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

After being led to eat breakfast, get on my knees to pray and surrender everything to the Lord, hearing to play some worship, talk and prayed with to one of the young man of the house, freshen up, got ready, then was led around 6:30PM to go get dinner with the provision of $25 dollars sent by the sister yesterday and received a phone message that the woman had a family emergency and was held back, to which I heard to stay in the house the Lord has me in till the Holy Spirit leads to go/provides or before a group of guests they have coming over on Friday. The Good News of Jesus paper was given to a few people in the barber shop, deli, laundromat, the street in the are, with people having different reactions, one man asking how can he download the Bible to have it on his phone with the app that is on the paper, so it can be read to him and he can get the daily Bible verse. Only Jesus/ Holy Spirit who is so specific. Praying as always for the Lord’s kingdom to come and HIS will to be done in Jesus name. Less of me more of HIM, in Jesus name. Matthew 6: 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,[a] but deliver us from the evil one.[b]’ 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. John 3:30 He must become greater; I must become less. Also Matthew 6:24-34 comes to mind when I am asked how long I will be somewhere or about the future, which is a scripture the Holy Spirit constantly reminds me as the Great Commission is done: 24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Do Not Worry 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life<span data-fn=”#fen-NIV-23310a” class=”footnote” data-link=”[<a href=”#fen-NIV-23310a” title=”See footnote a”>a[a]? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Today I was reminded from the Holy Spirit that this is HIS Great Commission, that it is not about me or about my comfort, that it is about HIS will being done, and about the souls, that the blessing is that Jesus is my Lord and Savior and that we are here to be loved by HIM and to obey HIM so that more people can have that assurance. 1 Corinthians 1: 26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”[a]

Jesus wants you to know that HE LOVES YOU. He wants a relationship with you. Our sins separate us from God when we break his commandments. But if we repent and accept Jesus as our God and Savior, there is forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, and much more. Talk to Him.🙏He wants to hear from you. 🖤 We are born to be loved by the Lord, to worship HIM, and to obey HIM through HIS Great Commission.
