Today’s reading Ruth 1.

What does OBEDIENCE mean? In simple terms it means hearing the word of God and acting on it. It implies aligning our will to God’s will; doing what God has asked us to do. It is when we completely surrender to His authority and base our decisions and our actions on His Word in the Bible.

Sacrifice means giving to the Lord whatever He requires of our time, our earthly possessions, and our energies to further His work. The Lord commanded, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). Our willingness to sacrifice is an indication of our devotion to God.

May 11, 2024. Today I woke up after a long long long night, with barely been able to sleep, as I kept being awaken, and there is a difference when the Holy Spirit keeps you awake to give you a message or have you intercede for a situation, but when it is the darkness that is trying to keep you awake the body hurts and it is very taunting. Then finally woke up around 10AM, listened to Ruth 1 as led, prayed, surrendered the day to the Lord, put on the full armor for both my daughter and I, as well as covering both of us with the blood of Jesus. Heard to leave to a women’s shelter, and I was so tired for two days now, spiritually and physically exhausted and in that exhaustion I started watching some Dominican news, as well as worshiping and praying, but was exhausted, so much has happened and has been done. Then I heard 5 days in the women’s shelter, but I did not feel the Holy Spirit on my head when I heard that, but I still took the suitcase and book bag and since the person who opened the door to where I am staying after the last Great Commission said I could only stay for the weekend; I figured today was the last day and that what I was hearing about the 5 days was of the Lord. I was led to make copies of the Good News of Jesus, get some brunch and as I was passing a local church I was led to go in, pray with them, share the testimony of faith, encourage them as the Holy Spirit leads and it turned out to be a group of young people being discipled and getting ready to go out into the neighborhood to evangelize, I was so encouraged. The importance of obedience. So much happens in a day as we answer the Great Commission. John 15: 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.

John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Arrived to the women’s shelter which had a jail sense, I know the sense as the Holy Spirit had me in a men’s jail in Valhalla, NY for a while sharing the Good News of Jesus in their re-entry panel. Everyone from the guards to the people coming in and out, as the Holy Spirit were prayed for, heard the Good News of Jesus, received it in the paper, people were encouraged to surrender and seek the Lord, a woman was prayed for for healing in her body and asked to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior and going to sleep after, three Christian women ended up sitting in the waiting area with me and one was led to pray for me, laying hands and I felt the deliverance of the darkness on me from the previous Great Commissions and I felt the fire of the Holy Spirit again in me. I am hearing a place to stay after this, but they require full payment before staying, it would be $45 a night. One of the ladies who was doing the intake in the waiting area of the shelter was led to pray for me and I felt the recharge and furnace of the Holy Spirit. Only the Lord knows where HE will have me after tomorrow and who HE will move to pay it. After everything was done in the shelter and the paperwork was done; I heard we can leave, call her, I believe I heard my daughter but when I asked her she said: let me ask and before my daughter gave me an answer I was led to ask the person where I have been for the past two days and she gave me the number of the young men running the house and one opened the door for me to come in when I arrived. 1 Samuel 15: 22: Samuel said, “Does the Lord have as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than a sacrifice, And to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.

After the shelter the handle on the suitcase snapped, as it had fallen down the train the last time I was traveling with it, the truth is that I was so exhausted after being out side of the the last shelter that I dropped it down the stairs. I was led to go to a nearby store and get another suitcase, but it was not just about the suitcase as it never is, it was to meet a sister in Christ who needed to be encouraged, prayed for healing of her body, for me to be led by the Holy Spirit to say the Good News of Jesus out loud on the line at the store and for her to be led to help me transfer everything to the new suitcase and she was led to get me dinner and we shared testimonies then she walked me to the bus. The people at the food place also got the Good News of Jesus as well as some of the people who came to eat at the restaurant. Then I was led back to the place and a sister was led to pray that the Lord clarifies everything that has to be clarified and that those who have to be of support to this Great Commission answer and are obedient to sending the offerings needed for the Lord’s kingdom to keep coming and HIS will being done in Jesus name. The suitcase and the transportation were covered with what was led to be sent by the two sister’s this morning. I have $3.10 cents in the account, trusting that the Lord will move those HE will move to be able to go out for Mother’s Day with my daughter and to get food for today and moving forward . The Holy Spirit will move those who listen and do, who are obedient for today, tomorrow and moving forward.

I don’t know who or how many people the Lord will move for the rest of the nights, transportation, food, and other needs moving forward; it would be a blessing to many if it could be you.
