Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

Reading for today: Acts 9.

April 8, 2024. Today woke up after a long night of waking up and waking up, which is what happens sometimes the night before the Great Commission is going to be done, until woke up at 7AM to get ready to go out before the wife where the Lord has me building disciples for the Holy Spirit left, not to stay alone with the husband which is a boundary that I was led to set with the leading of the Holy Spirit, as it is important to protect our testimony as well as the other people’s testimony. Unless is your husband or wife there should not be spending time alone in enclosed places. Also thru experiences in the Great Commission the Lord has taught me; it is very important not to open any doors to the enemies of our souls, with the reminder in Proverbs 4: ²³ Above all else, guard your heart,
    for everything you do flows from it.

After prayer with also a fast since the day before yesterday of a three day fast with fruits and vegetables, no salt or sugar either; I heard to go to a nearby cafe, before arriving to the cafe there was a man sitting on the floor to which I heard that he needs to be heard. I came close to him, asked him his name, how he was, how long he had been in that spot, he mumbled as he has been in that situation for a while. He said he had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and I was led to ask if I could pray for his feet and healing of his soul and body, he said yes and I came down to the floor and the Holy Spirit led on how to pray for him. He put his head down in a form of reverence to the Holy Spirit and received the touch and prayer of the Holy Spirit thru me.

Then I was led to sit at the cafe giving the Good News of Jesus paper that has the free Bible app link and the link to this page for teachings and testimonies. There were a few specific people the Holy Spirit led to pray and talk to, as well as share the Good News of Jesus out loud, which was the case with a Brazilian young man who has been here in NY for a few months couch surfing and had all his belongings with him at the cafe, he was heard, although I do not speak Portuguese the Holy Spirit does and he was heard, shared the Good News of Jesus as translated when I was being sent to Sao Paulo, Center Brazil, with the Crakolandia population and the business owners in the area. A very humbling experience. Then my daughter received money that was owed to her and she was led to send me $5 dollars which were perfect to be able to do laundry, as the sheets and some clothing items needed to be washed. The Lord always comes thru at the right time and in HIS perfect time. The Holy Spirit speaks and HE is so specific, a we read in Acts 9. And after we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, get baptized by submersion in water, which represents the public confession of our faith and the death of the old self to come out of the water to receive the Holy Spirit seal, have a rebirth as we learn in John 3 and get forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, fruits, gifts, as we surrender everyday, as we read in Matthew 16:²⁴ Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. ²⁵ If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. ²⁶ And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?^[l] Is anything worth more than your soul? ²⁷ For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds. ²⁸ And I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.”and read the Bible, to eventually answer the Great Commission, as we learn in Matthew 28:16-20. Then we also get to recognize HIS voice as it says in John 10:²⁷ My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; ²⁸ and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

After being in the cafe for sometime; I was led to get some rest, in a form of a nap, which is always very refreshing and restoring, it is a recharge from the Holy Spirit. My body started hurting as I have a cough and a cold that needs to go thru it’s process. I started crying out to the Lord for healing and heard that rest and medicine were needed, to which I cried out for those things and a sister in Christ that the Holy Spirit connected to in a event was led to call me as I was crying out to the Lord to tell me she was led to call me to see what it was that I needed as she had $40 dollars that she had available for me to either send it to me and I just cried and cried and shared the testimony of how I was just crying out to the Lord and HE answered thru her. The husband and wife were led to come with me to get the items and we had such a powerful Holy Spirit filled and led time in the car, so recharging and encouraging. The sister was led to pack a few other items that were also shared with the husband and wife of the home, with a reminder to be aware of the Holy Spirit’s prompting as to HIS leading if someone else needed the items to experience a living and seeing God. Jesus/ Holy Spirit is a very specific God who teaches us that as we take care and answer the Great Commission HE takes care of us, we have the assurance of Jesus being our Lord and Savior, that as we love him and he loves us back, and we obey HIM and we will be part of the new heaven and the new earth as it says in Revelations 21: Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”^[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. ² I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ⁴ ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’^[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” ⁵ He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” ⁶ He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. ⁷ Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. ⁸ But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” And 2 Peter 3: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Peter+3&version=NIV

I have been led to share testimonies in this blog/podcast page of teachings and testimonies by the Holy Spirit. He knows why and what each person needs to hear, listen and or do. I don’t know who or how many people the Lord will move for the rest of the nights, transportation, food, and other needs moving forward, but HE will. I am often led to pray; that HIS kingdom comes and will is done in everything and that is less of me more of HIM, in Jesus’ name. But if we repent and accept Jesus as our God and Savior, there is forgiveness, healing, restoration, purpose, eternal life, and much more.
