Matthew 24: 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
A few days while in Sao Paulo, Brazil center; I heard in the Spirit to go directly to where my daughter lives right from the airport when arriving. So many emotions came over me as it had been a few months of not communicating with her. It was an overnight flight arriving in NY at 6AM. I went directly there and thank God one of her roommates was there, called her and we met the next day. I can’t thank the Lord enough for his care and guidance with my daughter. The process she went thru was necessary for healing and restoration.
Then I was placed in a women’s residence that has been ran by the Catholic church for over 100 years. I am never led by the Holy Spirit to debate or convince, as the word says that the one who convinces is the Holy Spirit, or to go into denominational conversations, but to share the Good News as stated in Romans 10:9 and the testimony of coming to Jesus and how ever the Holy Spirit leads with his gifts and fruits to plant the seed. There were nights that I was awaken so much, the warfare was intense with presence of spirits in the room, body pain and mental attacks. I would wake up read or listen to the word, putting on the full armor, asking the Holy Spirit to tell me what to do that day and doing HIS will. I would pray and share the Good News of Jesus thru the testimony of faith or how ever the Lord led to person by person, including some of the staff and the nuns. The opposition would come thru some of them who felt uncomfortable and disrespect, as some sensed that I was being disrespectful for evangelizing in a Catholic ran institution, to which I was led to listen and let the person know that it is out of Love that the Holy Spirit sends people to share the Good News of Jesus and that the things of the Holy Spirit are only understood after we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, otherwise it sounds like foolishness, as the Bible clearly states. I would constantly pray that the people would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior as it says in Romans 10:9 and would have an encounter with the Holy Spirit to receive forgiveness, healing, restoration, eternal life and all that the Bible says we will receive, as it says in Revelations 21:1-8.
In the midst of the discomfort and the opposition which always rises against the Good News of Jesus, as it is so powerful when someone understands; the Holy Spirit kept moving me, making connections for encouragement and prayer, both for myself and others, and working in each place; whether it was in the train, a restaurant, sharing the Good News of Jesus out loud, the emergency room in a hospital, in the doctor’s office, in the streets and allowing my daughter and I to spend quality and healing time together. I love my daughter so much and we will always continue to pray for one another’s journey with the Lord.
In Matthew 5, Matthew 10, the book of Acts, the Book of Revelations; we get clear examples of what we go and will go thru for the souls, but our recompense is what it says in Revelations 21. It does not feel good when we are going thru the attacks, but it is so important to read the Bible and be in his presence each day so when situations come our way we understand what the Lord needs us to understand. If anyone knows is not easy but worth it is the Lord, who came as a man, going thru everything and anything we would go thru, to relate, to die for us and leave us the Holy Spirit.
I have been hearing a country since before Paraguay and the ticket and stay have been set, there are a few things that will be clarified as the time comes near to leaving there or getting there, as the last time I was going there it was changed and I was sent to another country. A sister in Christ was led to send an offering and I asked a few others that if the Holy Spirit led or allowed to pray, and consider sending an offering to support the next mission. I pray and hope it is ok with the Lord that I asked. There are times that when thinking of the things needed for the next country I have heard you won’t need them and the scripture in John 1:5 that says: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” I wills see the day of the flight what the Holy Spirit means by that.
When we are called to the Great commission we are called to let the light of the Lord shine how ever HE leads, so that more people can know him and eventually be part of the kingdom of God coming and HIS will being done in us and thru us. We will see what happens on the day I have heard to go to the next country in the next post. Thankful for those who are praying and or have been led to be of monetary support to this Great Commission, it is a blessing to many.
