Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

John 4: ¹³ Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, ¹⁴ but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” 

After hearing in the spirit and being sent for a month to Peru, Chile, and Ecuador; I heard in the spirit Argentina, in each country being in the capital. You can read more about arriving in Argentina in the last blog called: Understanding more and more, country number 12. The first week I arrived in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the area where the Holy Spirit specifically said. I sensed to attend a church the Sunday of that week, after walking in the area, listening to the people, and placing the Good News of Jesus paper under each door of the 8-floor building where the Lord placed me, at first The darkness reminded me of one of the previous countries where I was almost fined for placing the Good News paper under the doors of 4 of the floors of the 22 floor building, but I still did there and here. I felt the spiritual tension as it happened and here as I was placing the papers under the doors. I was greeted by a woman from Peru in the church I was led to visit, who has the gift of hospitality, We spoke, and I was led to share the testimony of coming to Jesus and being called to the Great Commission as it says in Matthew 28, with the direction and provision of the Holy Spirit thru his people. She was so encouraged that she gave me her number and we kept in contact, met and she took me to meet another sister in Christ who was also encouraged, we shared words of encouragement and prayer. I was also led to speak and listen to the people in the community, with hugs and then sharing the good news of Jesus.

In the days to come which were 15 days that I was in that country, the good news was shared in the area, to the businesses, buses, and to anyone that would be walking by. One of those days the Spirit led me to one of the main avenues and there was a homeless man. There were a few in the area, including one that sometimes came into the lobby where the Lord had me stay. People would often say thank you and after hearing the people I would understand why and it was because there was a sense of hopelessness because of all that has happened politically, but now each of these people has a different view as they come and get to have a relationship with Jesus. Provision for food came as needed through another sister in Christ, The Lord connected her and me on a train in NY the day I was being sent to Nicaragua. In the main avenue, the Lord led me to sit on the floor and listen to people as they expressed a sense of depression and hopelessness, pray for, and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I was reminded of the woman at the well in John 4(take time to read it or re-read it, and let the Lord speak to you), who was heard, felt that she was a human being, felt loved, cared for, seen, and became a disciple who shared about Jesus to the whole town. Every day I would read the Bible, talk to the Lord, listen to worship, and ask where to go. Towards the end of the time I would hear 15 days, I would pray to see if it was that I was going to be there 15 days or that it was 15 days in the next country that I was hearing and I heard that the 1st it was going to be changed and that I was being sent to the next place on the Sunday of that week. I prayed and was overwhelmed with not hearing from my daughter for a month, as of now. It became a bit more overwhelming as a sister in Christ from PR sent me a message that her son had been found by the police dead because of an overdose. I know that is not my daughter’s case but I cried as I felt the Lord’s pain for that family. I cried and cried as I tried calling my daughter, asking others if they had heard from her, and texting, and have not heard back from her. It’s amazing how we are called to serve the Lord and so much rises. It is all in the Bible but when it is happening it can be painful. I pray that she is well and that she contacts me soon. I don’t stop praying and loving her.

On the first, a sister was led to send the mission support as she has been led to do for a while now. Jesus, the first as I had heard, the first you will be able to change it I heard, which was interesting for me as It was 2 days before the flight. The change was paid, as well as being able to pay for the fixing of two jeans I was provided for, the money for the taxi and some left to get to the new country as a taxi worth $50 dollars has to be paid to get from the airport to the room in the area the Holy Spirit is sending me to. I believe he will move more people to give and everything will be provided for the needed items such as food and transportation for the Great Commission to be done there and to go to the next country. I am thankful for the obedience of those who give and or pray for this calling, as it is a blessing to so many whose lives will never be the same as they encounter the living God through accepting Jesus and getting hope, love, joy, forgiveness, healing, restoration, freedom, eternal life and all the Lord offers. There was one of the days when I felt a dark presence in the room, but I would pray and the Lord would also move others to pray with me over the phone and on Facetime. The Lord intercedes for us through those of the Holy Spirit. Thankful for the sisters in Christ he moved and gave time to pour into me. So much happens as the Holy Spirit sends me to different areas and pours out his love to the people in the different ways he does, as he knows each person better than anyone else.
