Less of me, more of You//Más de Ti, menos de mí

In March 2021, I left for the Dominican Republic on a Godly journey to share the love of Jesus in the Dominican Republic, after surrendering the apartment and everything I had in Yonkers, NY. I was sent by the Holy Spirit to different towns such as Santo Domingo, then to El Toro de Guerra, close to Santo Domingo where the houses are made of wood and ceilings of Zinc, there was a very religious community and God sent me to raise the dry bones with Ezequiel 37 and share his Good news with love. A family allowed me to stay in their home by faith. I was able to bless many people with the blessings I received, who had needs such as milk for their babies, food to eat, and Bibles, most of the adults and children received Bibles and the non-believers were able to see Christianity in a loving way. The word was also shared at big parties where the music was lowered and I was given a microphone.

Then I was sent to Santiago where there was a big Haitian community, where many heard the Good News in a relational way and were connected to local churches. Also had a bible study together with English classes as many wanted to get bilingual jobs. I was also invited to speak in some of the Haitian churches about my testimony and serving the Lord. 

I was also sent by the Holy Spirit to Bani where I prayed for the town for three days, to Higuey where there is a lot of idolatry and the focus was a place called la Basilica where people worship the virgin and bring all kinds of sacrifices and prayers to it. Also praying for the churches to rise.

Then I was sent to Samana to pray for three different locations for the church and share the Good News of Jesus. To each place I would arrive by bus, sometimes two buses, stay in an Airbnb, except for El Toro, and would have a person who would offer to drive me around in a motorcycle or a car for pay. Went to Maimon where there were people who needed to come back to Christianity and were encouraged. I thank the Lord for the honor and blessing of serving him and seeing his Holy Spirit move in mighty ways. Right now I am in NY resting, spending time with my daughter, recharging, and healing to leave on Saturday back to the Dominican Republic to keep doing God’s will.
